You're letting your logical, practical side take over. But they sent you a world that could be so sensible, respectable, responsible, a vegetable.
I've never been a big fan of heels either. I accept them as formal wear for a girl, and that's pretty much it.
My feet are size 12EEEE so finding femme shoes that fit and look nice id an ordeal, even on line. But I do have a couple pairs I found at Payless and I love them more every time I put them on. At 6ft2 in stockings, I don't need the extra height, but I now see I walk more upright and with smaller steps, even when I am back in my boy shoes. My black 3" high booties and my 2" slides make my feet look just that much smaller, even daintier, if that's possible. On the other hand, my 3" pumps are a disappointment, as they feel like they want to fall apart. So I keep looking.
Well, I love my heels, but do wear flats now and the. Okay, I wore flats on an outing once. I doubt I'd ever really dress if it wasn't for 4 inch heels. Most are NOT COMFORTABLE, but a few of them are I have 4 pair that are 6 inches, but would never wear them out. I usually wear skirtsuits, and 3 to 4 inch heels look the best with suits. In MHO. Just a preference, really. Wear what you enjoy and be happy.
Stay safe,
Linda
It's Dorothy,
No it's Frédérique,
Hi frederique,
nice shoes, pinnafore, dress and the lacy slip
I tried to peel the picture back thlook further up but that did not work.
Depending wherthe you are looking out for floods, tornadoes or just able to socialise there are shoes for all occasions.
Even in London and NY it is a low heeled boot for me.
Not young enough and frisky looking to tread the boards these days.
At a private party I do look different, I lead with my cleavage and high heels.
Frédérique, I do appreciate my heels, but I wear both heels and flats, according to my mood or whatever fits what else I'm wearing. I do like the flats you're wearing in your picture and I would totally wear those.
I'm just getting to be a real shoe enthusiast, I guess. Now I know how Imelda Marcos must have felt. :)

Love heels and cant buy enough.
I love to wear heels. Wish I can wear heels all the time. Have noticed though that the heels I like to wear are not practical to the things I like to do.
For me its all about the heels (but of course) I don't think that i am complete unless I am wearing a pair of heels, and yes, I have one or two pairs of flats for just in case, but I just never even think of wearing them...
First of all nice pic Freddy, looks like maybe you were dressed for the festival. Festival time in Lindsborg is a lot of fun I regret to say its been a long long time since I've been there.
As for I do like my heels, for me they make me feel more feminine but then it also depends on my mood. If I'm going to be cooking or doing housework while dressed I much prefer flats. Although I'm a poor girl, with big feet, and I don't have many shoes.
Despite my height, I still love heels. But iit's not just CDrs...my wife and daughters do too...my wife's only non heeled footwear are tennis shoes.
For me heels just look and make me more feminine.
If I would were flats, they would be my work shoes.
A miniskirt and flats? You have got to be kidding ;) Do I need to compose a photo to illustrate this point!
Are my heels comfy, only when sitting. Do they help the legs and mini rock...absolutely. The price we pay for presentation.
My take on heels......The look you love, The feel you hate.
Hugs, Robin
Personally, it's a matter of taste. There's no law that says you have to rush out and buy 7" heels to totter around in. In the end it's how comfortable you feel in the footwear you choose. I have a couple pair of flats that I like to wear if I'm going to be running around all day, I have heels in heights ranging from 2" to 4". The 4" I usually wear for my fetish photo shoots. But my 2" heels, I can walk in them all day and feel just fine. But no matter what heel height, my feet are going to be sore if I'm on my feet all day regardless. My feet can get sore even when I'm in guy mode wearing sneakers, LOL!

If I could buy men's shoes with heels I'd wear them every day. However, I generally prefer my fem heels to be very high and a bit too tite. All hi heels help my posture. I can dance in my ladies heels all nite. Men's flat shoes? Maybe 20 minutes!
Now for me, it's undies! Couldn't care less what kind I'm wearing. Unless it's for "undies showing" lingerie pics! For just those instances I have bags full of them!
Yes Kelly I agree, Plus my legs and footsies hurt after dancing in them. But, I love them. Plus, I love my flats also. Cute flats are nice also.
Yes, there is. How boring it would be it we all dressed the same.
Are you sure, I have a fix but I'm sure you won't like it.:heehee:Quote:

Some Rubber boots would work. You can get them in pink, you know:)Quote:

When wearing Heels, you don't do the things you would normally do in your sneakers. You would just have too sit there and look pretty and smile.:DQuote:

I choose my heal height based on the outfit that I am wearing. Most clothes look best with a certain height of shoe, form flats to 4 inch heels. The exception for me would be jeans and then it depends on the look that I am after. Really like wearing jeans with boots that have a two to three inch heel for a dressy look, but flats or runners for a casual look.
lol
I personally believe that each girl here should wear whatever makes her comfortable. We worry so much about blending and not sticking out that we alter our wardrobe from what we want to wear to what we think we should wear just because everyone else wears it.
Hey, if you prefer flats, then by god, wear your flats. I don't think there is anything wrong with not liking heels and you seem to have solid reasons why you personally don't like them. Like you said, to each their own :D
For me, yes, I am wild about heels. I love everything about them. From the moment my foot slides into them to the click clack of them bouncing off the walls lol For a girl that seldom goes out, you would think that one or two pairs would be enough but no, I just passed pair 20 and still look for new ones every time I am out shopping ;) Do I understand why I love heels so much? no, but then again, there's alot about "this" that I don't understand ;)
Oh no, I like the opposite look heels with pants. I do wear flats though if I actually have to do something that requires walking.
Practicality has nothing to do with it! :slap:Quote:

I'm completely on board with gorgeous, lovely heels. Oh.....and no offense.....none at all, my dear Freddy........but I hate flats! :yucky:
I guess I owe you a hug. :hugs:
