Unique way to "out" yourself

I can appreciate your situation. My dad passed away several years ago and was very homophobic -- meaning he despised anything not pure stereotypical hetero male. I have a gay brother and sister, and they stayed in the closet because of him. Image if we all came out at once when he was around? :heehee::doh:

So sort of like what he has seen me dressed in for the last two years? That is virtually how I have dressed daily (except I don't do jeans but Docker style pants...think butch) I even carried a clutch wallet or a shoulder bag for more years beyond that. But he is a guy and clothing choices short of heels and a dress goes right over his head. I have not worn Men's shoes for over 8 years, I have worn ladies loafers and tennies. :idontknow: Now that I have written that I think...well he didn't see his gay son for 18 years, maybe he has chosen to not see his TG son? :thinking: But I agree Reine and he will know before he comes to visit. And no I won't wait for my step sister to tell. But you would think a good step sister would have your back and do dirty work for you ...right?

You can maybe start the conversation by explaining you have something to tell him that will surprise him.
"Do you remember when my brother came out ?" well this is similar. that at least makes him aware how serious what you have to say is. It would be good if is current wife is accepting as she could be there when you tell him.

My first thought was "Hi dad...what's the worst thing you can think of about me?" If he says anything but you are a TS...I can say "well good, this isn't as bad as that" :)
