Oh dear, this is going to date me but the first woman I wanted to be was Sandie Shaw. She had her first big hits in the early 1960s, just about the time I first discovered my female side.
I loved her clothes and the way she wore she wore her hair. It was wonderful having such an attractive woman to aspire to be.
These days I prefer to be my own woman. But I still have special affection for Sandie :)

She was very pretty and so full of life, much like me, and I miss her. she never let her medical condition slow her down, which might have been her downfall. I never got the chance to tell her about Carroll, but she would have embraced me and would have loved to do my hair and make-up. She past Feb 08, 2003 due to dilated cardiomyopathy
