So sorry, didn't find something frilly! :heehee:
So sorry, didn't find something frilly! :heehee:
Presently I have nothing in my stash that I would consider 'Frilly' I do have 3 tops that are very sheer and you can see everything under them. Haven't yet found the right thing to wear under them. They were given to me by Dark AnGGel.
Now a few times I have worn some 100 yard Crinolines that I had sew for my wife and younger daughter. but that was before I installed and tightened up the waist Elastic. I put a draw string in the waist band so I could pull the elastic through.
A 100 yard Crinoline has three outer tiered, 3 inner tiers, and a half 'full circle' slip. The outer edge of each tier is either given a hankie rolled edge or is pipped. (That is 100 yards of pipping) My machine allows me to cut my own strips of cloth, usually scraps from the skirt material that are feed into the pipping foot.
Haha I'll have to pass on this one. I don't fancy frilly things. I like sleek, smooth, soft, sometimes shiny, and above all, simple things. Actually I like to wear what I like to see or touch on girls.
I have a French Maid's outfit.....that's VERY frilly. I also have a pair of black ruched panties that are extremely frilly. For me, there is nothing that could possibly be TOO frilly. :daydreaming:
Wedding dress with full pettycoat and vintage 1950's and 1960's era layered night gowns. Just another wave of past purges I cry over every day now....
When I was younger, my boyfriends would buy sexy negligees for me to get me in the mood. It worked. When I slipped on a sheer babydoll , I would be up for almost any thing he wanted to do.
Probably this all-lace mini-dress, with a silky black slip under it, and patterned nylons. I liked how it looked on me. I've worn it out for dinner and for dancing on several occasions, and also have a red version of the same dress.
I have a couple pair of panties, lace rear with a seam up the rear to divide the checks. Bright pink and a soft powder pink.
I need something "Frilly" to add to my closet. I have some nightgowns and such but nothing that would fit into this thread category.
I have a white, lacy babydoll nightie with a sheer cover-up and thong -- although, at my age, I can't really wear the thong properly!
I'm not really into frilly.
I own a lot of the clothes mentioned above, but I don't really consider them frilly.
Here's something that I consider frilly:

and I would love to be that frilly.
"Frilly"?...I'd have to say a babydoll nightie my wife gave me shortly after we got married. It had huge lace and chiffon butter-fly sleeves, a high Victorian collar that was also chiffon but edged in a 2" lace cuff, 2" lace hem around the bottom (that almost covered my rear) and matching pantie-cover that was similarly laced at the waist and leg openings. Thats what I think of for "frilly". Feminine?...my wedding dress...
I think frilly can also be linked to pretty I have got a short sleeved black blouse with a lace fringe under and slightly below the hem as well as the same lace at the back of my neck, frilly? yes in its detail, pretty? very and I enjoy wearing it on those warm days.
I have a few pairs of ruffle panties, but otherwise I'm not much into frilly. Love lace though.
I've noticed a bit of a trend here in that many of the items described as "frilly" are either lingerie items such as slips or panties or sleepwear as in long gowns and baby doll nighties. Sadly half of this equation seems to be going away as frilly sleepwear is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. Even in the lingerie category, cotton knits are making inroads to the point where satin, nylon, lace and other embellishments are slowly but surely disappearing.
It's a sad day in the neighborhood...

I love frillies ! I started dressing when I used to plead with my GF to wear black stockings in the bedroom. She would always say "You wear them". One day I said that I would but they wouldn't fit me. The next weekend, she presented me with a Victoria's secret bag with super sexy basque, panties and stockings. I was so turned on but was not allowed to do anything until she put makeup on my. She later bought me heels and a wig and we both wore the laciest silkiest lingerie that she could find - matching of course !
a thong black
It could argued be that everything I wear for CDing is frilly to the max. Rococo on steroids...er...estrogen! How does it make me feel? Like a total fairy. It's delicious.
I wear so many frilly things that it's hard to pick just one. However I always feel so wonderful in frilly things, I feel like me.
I hope you married that gal, Caitlyn!!!
How did it feel? as flirty as a filly in a field of clover.
I have a blouse with a lot of frills....I love the cuffs ...it looks great with a jacket or waistcoat
Rhumba panties. I haven't worn them for a long time... maybe a little silly?
The last pair of those that I sewed was in 1997. I made them for my wife to wear under a Square Dance Skirt I made for her.
I tried them on BEFORE I put the elastic in them. At the time I weighed in at 200 lb. They were very snug then. After I put the elastic in there was absolutely no way I could get them on without busting all lengths o elastic. I had sewn in elastic into each row of frills to make sure they fitted her.
When My wife passed away, I gave away over 30 Outfits, and my matching man's shirts. Now my sewing machine is gone too.
Floral print dress, bra, panties, pantyhose. Not super frilly but the best I have. It felt like heaven.

Sometimes Miss. I would never have guessed you were a guy in a dress! WOW!
One of my sissy dresses with all the lacy, frilly accessories and hosiery. And of course a pair of 5 inch heels. I am such a ****
Ya i love the lolita girl look i have 4 or 5 dresses that are frilly alomg with regular skirts and such as well.
My frilliest outfit is my purple strapless quinceanera/prom dress made by Mori Lee. Has a nice big skirt and I add a crinoline to it as well. Also has a little jacket to cover my shoulders as well. Anything with a super poofy skirt is perfect for me.
My frilly and lacy purple and black strapless dress, that falls above the knee, with black pantyhose, and knee high leather boots. I felt so sexy!

My Gothic lolita costume. Poofed out shoulders, oversized sleeves, 5 yards of lace trim... it's very much the frilliest thing imaginable. I love it so much. Really, my favorite "flavor" of femininity is innocence and gentleness. Those are the feelings that dress inspires in me.
Probably a bright red Southern Belle dress. It was all ruffles and frills, a petticoat and of course the lingerie under it all had to match. How did it make me feel? So girly!
Donna, That sounds wonderful ! How did you end up in that and do you have pics ?
I once had a white silk and lace peignoir set that made me feel heavenly. Unfortunately, it was lost during one of my several purging experiences. I have always regretted throwing it away.
I had a red torsolette that I bough when I was around 13. It was one of the sets the came with a g string and stockings. That was probably the frilliest thing I have owned. Unfortunately, I think it went with the first purge.
Just stumbled upon this thread and had to reply.. For me it's the frillier the better! I have a collection of 6 or 7 ballet tutus that I just love to wear. I think my wife thinks I'm a little nuts but she knows it makes me happy and lets me wear them around the house pretty much whenever I want. It seems the older I get I want things that are more frilly and feminine. Ebay has really helped in my tutu search, there are several sellers offering them even in my size, 2X-3X at fairly reasonable prices, the only thing keeping me from buying more is finding room to keep them.
Thats a gorgeous pic sometimes_miss definitely a bride. be safe. Karrin

I have only one, a white nylon blouse with ruffles down the front, I loved the way I felt in it also the outline my bra made. Karrin
When I was young, I would wear my mom's red silk nighty. Recently I bought matching bra and panties that are just adorable and wicked sexy.
I would have to say a wedding dress was the most feminine, frilly item I ever wore. I'd love to own one, but I'm too practical (cheap) to buy something that I would never wear out.
I found a lace square dance dress added petticoats and rumba panties lots of lace and frills and wearing it really makes me feel cute, feminine, happy!
Does this count?

LUCKY ! So pretty and fun ! Thanks
This one reminds me of the dress I sewed for my wife in 1996. She wore it in the Alabama State Convention.
I had beaded the American flag and fireworks onto the net over-skirt.
On our wedding night my wife put me into a very frilly babydoll nightie.
Very lacy.
Very sheer.
Very pink.
I felt like a million bucks!
