me THARU PABA I like this name very much
Just seemed right.
Jennifer came from a major crush I had on a Jennifer, Then I decided that I needed a last name for some mail order stuff in the 80's so I closed my eyes, opened up a telephone book and randomly laid my finger on Monk, seemed appropriate as I had a fairly monk like existence at that time.
I've always like the name Lucy and then i thought about it and added Lou and thought that was right. Sp lucy Lou is me and that feels right. xx
I always hope that I am winsome.
Mine would have to be Kylie, partially because it is the closest to the feminine version of my given name and because the first girl I had a crush on elementary school had that name and still does as far as I am aware.
I picked my name because of my best friend who is a girl, and actually got me into CD. Her name is Nikki and mine is Nick, and one day we were on Omegle, I was fully dressed up, and a guy asked us what are names were so we came up with Nikki and Nicki. Her name is Nikki Stixx and my is Nicki Stoner. lol (get it, sticks and stones) after that it just fit. All I have to do is add an 'I' to my name, and i'm a completely different person.
My wife helped pick Mistyjo i like always like the name Misty and she added jo to it so Mistyjo
There is no real significant reason for my name. I chose Sierra because it isn't overly common but also not unusual. It's also somewhat of a homage to the Sierra Nevada, but that wasn't my main reason for picking it.
People on my football team nicknamed me "Sunshine" because of the guy from "Remember the Titans." He had long blonde hair like I did. My hair has darkened since then. I guess this could be my stripper name.
Mine is katie-lynn because my sister wanted me to be named katie-lynn if i was a girl and i thought would be a good femminine name for me
Patty Ann, My mom already had a boy and I was suppose to be her girl (if she only knew that I actually was her girl) and so I took that name as my female name.
Katie is a pretty name, welcome to the site.
I always loved the name Esther & wished I could have been named that as a child, but I thought I was stuck as a boy. So when I found out that I could change my sex, I naturally wanted that name. Esther
I chose my name because it's one I've always been fond of and seems to fit :)
Because of Duane & Gregg Allman. Such a beautiful song.
At the moment, I just dont know who I am :)
Guess it fits.
I didn't have an issue picking out Jamie. I use to know a Jamie and I always thought that it was a cool name that fits my personality. A fun yet whimsical name....
Hi All,
My name is from my new girlfriend. I was originally another name that died with a bad marriage and we felt that I needed a new name for a new start....
Just a tad excited about what the future holds but know I will walk gently into this good night vs abuse the crap out of my new freedoms....

I sure hope you find out soon Jane! If you are half as cute as your avatar and as honest as your post, it should come to you in time. That's what we are here for if you need..

I've had a few names along the years... Vittoria, Kate, Michelle, and a few others I'm not remembering at the moment. I chose Michelle to be my female name as it corolates best with my make name Michael. For some reason I find it easier to relate to as if it were given to me at birth. The other names were more about me finding myself through other women in my life. For example, Kate was the girl off the show Lost. I wanted to be like her and felt I resembled her do I felt it fitting. Vittoria, sounded sexy and in my younger years that's what dressing was about... Thigh highs 5-6 inch heels and over the top outfits. Michelle was me. The women who is classy real and wants to be treated equally like a women. This is who I am now. I think it's funny being a man to say this, but I want to clean, cook, do laundry, and take care of my family while dressed as me. It's funny to say because of what society makes men and women out to be and being a man it's like I'm defining my own feminin role, but it truly makes me feel much more like a lady. Anyway off topic here now lol... Names Michelle and I'm a lady at heart. Love to hear more stories of how you got your name.
Samara Banshee
Not really my female name.. its my drag name!
Samara as its the spooky bitch from The Ring
and Banshee as they're pretty spooky aswell.. and well... I like being a spooky bitch!
I just really feel like a Lissa. I am so new to dressing but the name seems to have been inside me for a while.
I'm Christen at the moment. I don't usually use a femme name, and I keep changing the one I like best.
Umm, Jennifer, for now. I kind of like it, and to me the middle name of Marie fits with it.
I've been considering changing my first name to Sarah (and middle name to something else), maybe, but not sure. Long time ago my mom told me if I had been a girl that my name would've been Sarah.
Michelle and i have been used for 8 years.
My name is Nada Martine (legal name) taken from a nickname my father gave me. Nada means nothing in Spanish.
When I got my very first PC, I had NO clue about it. I
broke it many times and had to reinstall everything.
It kept asking for a 'name' for the computer each time.
There was an old B-52's cassette tape on top of a pile
of them, and I'd seen them once down in Miami. It was
just one of those memorable nights that everything went
so perfectly....standing just 4 ft away from Kate Pierson.
So was so Amazingly Beautiful!
So I got in the habit of naming my computers 'Kate'...and
we've shared the same name for a long time now.
I've almost changed it a few times, but like any other name,
sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. But I stay Kate.
My middle and last names, though...that's all open for now.
I'll settle on those one day.
:)
Kate
I'm not sure when I picked the name Mandy, but the first time I said it, I knew it was right. That was about 15 years ago. My last name Smiles, was a decision made while registering here because I was so flipping happy to know I wasn't alone.
Kelsie, for now. I tend to lean towards K names.
Dorothy Elizabeth - (it's also my user name here)
I chose this name for several reasons. Here are just a few:
1) The words sound nice together, and roll easily off the tongue. (And yes, I am a strong personality. I set forth to boldly split the infinitive!)
2) They match my given initials, making it possible to use any monogramed items I already own.
3) My grandfather had a half-sister, who was born in 1872, and spent her entire life as a "closet" lesbian. Her name was Elizabeth. She died two years before I was born, and I have always wished I could have known her.
4) MY dear friend Teresa (who is a confirmed lesbian, in a committed relationship) and I were sitting in a bar one evening, and I "outed" myself to her.
She asked, "What is your femme name?"
"I haven't one, I replied. "I never thought about that."
"Oh, she said, "You need one. You're such a dreamer. But Alice doesn't fit you; I think I'll call you Dorothy."
I just love the name "Alice", feels right.
same as nicola, the first girl i was in love to, i liked her name and i adopt it..
I chose Trisha because it was similar to my masculine first name. Marie just came because it sounded good with Trisha and my last name.
I chose the name Victoria because I absolutely love the character in revenge. I know it is pretty juvenile but I like the name and it can go either way: formal-Victoria Naughty-Vicky.
I haven't picked one. I had a hard enough time picking names for my daughters, so naming myself would be a nightmare.
Arlene-In honor of Arlene Francis & Arlene Dahl
Raquel-In honor of the amazing Ms Welch
When I was 8 or 9 I told my parents and friends I wanted them to call me Kelly. It seemed to be more me than my own name and as a bonus it was similar enough to my own name not to arouse any suspicions (I think). It didn't work. But mostly I just liked it. Then, years later, my wife began playfully calling me that whenever she, with a nod and a wink, wanted to refer to my femme side and she still does 30 yrs later. I came here last year and voila, the rest is history.
Elizabeth Anne, i really like that name
Chrissie is a GG friend that I admire and love....if I could be a girl, I'd be just like her!
Samantha is my favorite female name so I like to go by that
Hi everyone! This is my first post! I used to go by Jessica, but I actually changed it last year to Melanie (Melli). I think it's way more fitting of me! :)
My born name is Chris, and I've always had this 'other' side to my being, therefore, Christine is just a natural progression...
My full name is Christopher, so I chose Kit as an ambiguous variation of that... plus, kitties xD
It came to me in a dream.
I had been initially been using "Michelle", however my wife has come up with a name finally. She came out and said that she supports my dressing. We both laid down some ground rules which we both agreed to and she has started calling me ...
Sally
I still don't know really why, but she sees me as a "Sally".
Just thought I would share.
That's a pretty name my mom said if she had a girl she would name her Tina so it stuck to me
Laura Ann is just a name pulled from thin air, one I've always liked. The last name is invented, too - Dearman. "Dear Man", get it? Also, my initials are LAD. Sssshhhhh! :)
It's the name I was going to be called if i had been born a girl. As for a second name I just cant think of one I like or a reason to have one. so at the moment it just 'Rachel'
