i discovered my name when i was watching tv, I happened to be watching the show "Fringe" and one of the main characters was named Olivia, i love the way it sounded and it just clicked with me (i tried other names before such as Tanya, Zoie, Renee, even the female form of my real name... Erin but nothing ever appealed to me or stuck long enough.) the last name of Tanner was just something that came out of the blue and i liked how the full name sounded: Olivia Chloe Tanner and I have stuck with that ever since.

i have a friend who loves to tell funny dating fail stories from his past, and he never likes to use the girls real name, so he always refers to them as Felicity. after hearing it so many times, ive always kind of liked the name! also, i wanted a name that i didnt know anyone personally that had it, so it didnt feel weird to me...

Well, I've jumped around a lot, but right now I'm settling on Kelli Voegele. Kelli comes from a girl that I used to work with and was the only person my own age who talked to me when something really awful happened to me (if you want to hear more you'll have to get to know me better). Voegele comes from Kate Voegele, who's music I absolutely love.

Hi all,
My name is Alison, Alison Hell.
I chose this name as it was one that has been spinning around my head for a while. I have been wearing womens clothes on and off for a long time 30+.
I'm recently separated from my wife who knew nothing of my crossdressing, and I have accepted it fully since the split.
I'm not a MTF Girl as I'm 6' 8" tall and weigh around 20 stone with a very thick set square jaw, LOL.
I enjoy the feel and freedom of female clothes, although there hard to find for my size. I wear my femme clothes in the privacy of my apartment with the blinds and/ or curtains closed.
Although I do enjoy the thrill of wearing femme underwear under my man clothes in public.
Well back to my name, I enjoy/ love rock and heavy metal music and a band I like has a single/ track called AlisonHell, the band is called Annihalator if anyone is interested and it has been a favourite of mine for a long time. The name sums up my last 6 weeks trying to get myself/ life back on track.
I have just purchased a full wardrobe of clothes and underwear and am bursting (literally) to try it on as it arrives.
This is my quiet coming out as none of my family or current friends would understand.
I hope to meet new friends and expand my world a little.
As part mentioned earlier I'm not gay, I love womens clothes and am totally straight (with a little kink) LOL.

I actually chose Quinn first. This is from my pen name Q.C. Masters. (You can find my books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.)
But my wife didn't like it. She renamed me Danielle (Dani for short) after my boy name. Not so fond of that, but she's been a saint through my trans adventures, so I figure reducing her dysphoria a little is only fair.
Recently, she gave me a nice girly middle name, 'Rose', and likes to call me Dani Rose. I like that much better. In fact, at some point, maybe I'll just go by Rose.

I chose Jessy.....just happens 2 b a wonderful name 4 all sexes.....lol lucky me!

Laura is just such an elegant name and I'm a sucker for alliteration so I had to go with Lane. I also like how professional it sounds, like a business executive. I'm not sure why I like that last bit :)

Tiff so I don't have to change my signature when making purchases.

http://ucam.com I picked the name Gerri, the feminine version of my real name Gerry. I like the feminine sound it has when you say it. I have been seriously crossdressing for a couple of years now. I have loved wearing bras and panties for many years, and I have branched out with pretty much everything lately. I even got me a pink purse with a shoulder strap last week. I love wearing high heels (I actually feel more comfortable in them than in regular shoes), earrings, dresses, slips and nighties.

I did not really pick my name, it picked me, really in my younger years I would have dreams obout dressing and I was always called Deidra. When I got older and more serious I remembered the name and when I looked it up it, I found it was galic/irish origin, which I am. In ancient lore Deidra was a beautiful Irish princess, it has several meanings such as: fearful, sorrow, uncertainity and raging woman, these were all things I was feeling plus I liked it so then Deidra was born. It feel so natural to me from day one maybe it was my name in a previous life anyway I liked it then and still do.

Sophie Mei Yang
When I chose my name I was thinking a lot about the gender spectrum and the terms feminine, masculine, and transgendered. In Chinese philosophy the blending and balancing of opposites – the Yin, the feminine half, and the Yang, the masculine half, influence a person’s behavior and fate. I was going to choose Yin, (the feminine, negative, dark, passive, cold, and wet), for a last name. However, these characteristics do not reflect my personality. So I chose Yang, (the masculine positive, bright, active, dry, and hot) for a last name. These characteristics better reflect my personality.
I think my Yin and Yang halves are well balanced, but have been shifting to the feminine side. My closet certainly reflects the shift. Life is too short. If my feminine side makes me happy, I hope I am wise enough to balance my Yin and Yang along with my wife and sons’ Yin’s and Yang’s. Sophie, (Greek), means wisdom and wisdom is what I seek.
Mei means beautiful, Mei Mei means sister or beautiful girl.
Ergo, Sophie Mei Yang was born.

Well mine isn't Antoinette anymore (sadly can't change that here). It's now Fiona Thompson. Got Fiona from Adventure Time (the gender swap version of Finn) plus its fun to say. Thompson is the last name on my mom's side.
changed it ever since I broke up with my gf. She's the one who gave me the name Antionette. So to let go of the past I changed it

First name from an incredibly gorgeous girl I grew up with - Samantha.
Last name from the incredibly hot lead singer of DEf FX - Fiona Horne
Samantha Horne feels right on so many levels. xx

My name is Chloe. For some reason the name just feels right. Its part pristine and part naughty. It has a nice sound to it. It has the hard "K" and the soft "low-y" sound which is a tantalizing contrast. Ive picked it and never wanted to change it in over 10 years.

I've posted here before with names that didn't suit me in the least, so here I am again with a name I've finally decided on. I'm Lisa. It just kind of fits, and I really like the name. Someone called me that once, mistaking me for someone, and I turned around and answered them. It was embarrassing but worth it, because it helped me find my fem name. :)

Jillian Monroe. i grew up with a beautiful girl named Jillian. and for the last name i think we all know. Happy posting

Pamela Denise. I picked Pam as a first name in honor of my first crush. She was (and still is) so beautiful; she was also the first girl I knew who owned a wig. My male name that I go by begins with "D", and I wanted a "D" middle name. My first choice was Diane, but I have an aunt and a sister-in-law with that name. So I chose Pamela Denise, which seemed to roll off the tongue easily and sounded pretty together.

Great question. I was just sitting here asking myself, "do I need a girl name?" I have never thought I needed one. I also thought what would I say if my SO asked me if I had a name. What is the right answer? Yes, my girl name is? Or......I'm stilling learning to accept myself as a crossdresser (oh my gosh I did I just say that?). My SO knows and wants to support me, but current DADT. I'm sure at some point I'll feel the need to have an alternative name, but just dosent feel natural at the moment.

Well i have had a few femme names. All have been variations of my real names. I started as Donna, courtesy of my mom who called me her daughter Danna when i grew my hair out in college. Little did she know.
After that i went by Christina, a variation of Chirsitian, another one of my real names.
I have finally settled on Dee, when my current wife accepted my femme side and told me I can be open about it. She always called me D as short for my real first name. So by extension I go by Dee now so she can continue to call me D(ee) in public and private and always refer to me as my femme persona.
I even have friends starting to call me D(ee) all the time, whether they know I am en femme or not.

Hey all! I'm Alison or Ali. I started off calling my self Camille, but after thinking more, I feel more like an Alison. I love being to pick my own name, it feels like me.
I'm just not sure how to tell my wife that my femme side has a name. She knows all about the CDing; even goes shopping with me. Any ideas?

No idea how I came to using Lacy, it just seemed to fit. Had a few different names over the years, but none really seemed right until now.
-
My cousins always called me Michelle when they dressed me up. I is a form of my male name and my 2 older cousins told me that its easy to remember and less likely to have verbal slip-ups when out as my female self. They said simple is better and I've never bothered to try another name.

I started dressing when I was young and wore panties and bras under my clothes at school. My English teacher in school noticed and always kept an eye out for me and safeguarded my secret. She called me Asp because of my personality. When I graduated, she revealed to me that she was a transsexual born male and like me always thought she was in the wrong body. She outed herself and resigned after my graduation because it was a small school and she wad forced to. She told me to always be me.
I stick with Asp because she meant so much to me and gave me my name.
