Well, theres some time to be made up for in my fashion tastes :)
I'm 294 in dog years. I think. Woof.
In a few short months we start 73 years.
I'm 62 and still surfing!
63 for this old broad. Daviolin
54 years old and loving it. Lol
Stephanie, You and I are sisters of the same generation. I'm 72 and have been crossdressing since I was 11. That doesn't account for the times I tried on my mom's clothes when I was 6 or 7 and only remember wearing her robe and shoes.
Turned 66 last month. Retired and dress nearly every day. Lots more fun than work.
I'm just a kid over here, only 24!!
I'm 38 1/2 :) Some days I dress my age and some days I don't.
I just had my second sweet sixteens.
I will just ask you all to guess my age.
I am 53 and have been dressing since I was 18.
My male self is 51, but Erickka remains young at heart!
56 here. When I am fully dressed I look and feel like a woman in her 40s. It is amazing what makeup does for you. I try to dress my age which mean longer dresses and skirts. The one in my avatar is the shortest dress I have.
The male side of me is about 59.333
Kath is much younger of course!
stefcd1: I know exactly what you mean. I don't have any really short skirts though. The world isn't prepared for a shock like that. :-(
I'm going to be 47 a week from today (yes Friday the 13th) but when I'm dressed femme, I look alot younger so I am told by my wife.
I'm 25, been dressing since about 7 or 8.
I got curious after going through the responses and decided to crunch the numbers. The data include only definitive ages, so if you're still 39 like Jack Benny or whatever else, you're not in here. And, of course, this only counts those who responded to the thread. Pretty much looks like a mid-life preponderance.

Here are two charts of us, one showing ages year-by-year (with last column being totals for decades) and the other a distribution by decades. I couldn't find a way to make a bell curve of it and don't want to spend the rest of the day doing so...
Hugs,
Annie
another 50 something(actually 56) cd, just recently out to my wife of 27 years,
we are working at it and hopefully 2012 will be a good year for both of us.
I turned 40 a few months ago. I also think I look a lot younger when I dress up though.
after being away from this thread for a while, i'm amazed to come back and find my youthful 56 right in the middle of the pack! thanks for helping me regain my lost youth...though it sure would have been a lot less complicated to discover this about myself many years ago!
Turned 20 last month . While accepting this side of myself is still a roller coaster i promised myself in these next ten years Christina is going to have to be part of me that i come to accept and hopefully can embrace all the time .
65 and started when I was 8.
54 and enjoying it more and more! Been dressing since 7 or 8 I suppose.
32 and turning 33 tommorrow
I am 55 and have been crossdressing for 17 years.
i am 58 and been dressing on and off since i was a teenager... but as i have gotten older i seem more open about.. i enjoy being me..
I am 61 newly retired and loving it. I have been dressing on a regular basis for about 21 years now ever since I came out to my very wonderful any loving wife. No one else knows but her and she is really an angel about it. I have been sneaking and doing it since I was about 8 or 9 yrs old. Did you ever have a feel any guilt about it. I did and it was almost unbearable until now since I told my wife. Such a weight was lifted on that day.
Borm in January of 1959, first dressed in October of 1964 (Thanks Mom, wherever you are). I've lost and found myself more often than I care to consider. So, here's a Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to me! May I never lose this girl again.
I'm only 53 but am often mis guessed for someone in their sixties! Yeah, that's not a mis-type. It was nice when I was 16 and getting served, but now... Oh well.
20 here, and I'm hoping sometime this year I'll gather up the courage to go out xD
I'm 61 today, but tomorrow will be 62, but fortunately, Rachael is muuccchhhhhh younger.
I am 57 and started when i was 14
I'm 60 and loving every minute of it.
I am 57 in June I will be 58.
Wow! I must say all you gals who are in your 50's and 60's easily look 20 years younger in your pics!!!! I am 53, gonna be 54 this summer, been dressing since I was about 5 or 6....
Will be 28 in three months.
Make that a double thank you. What a pleasant surprise. So at 56 I'm still in my prime really. A bit of a Cougar really. Don't need to take up knitting just yet. Anyway when the age spots come I'll be a leopard, and they're even more dangerous.
On behalf of my cohort, thanks for the kind words! It's not unusual for CDs to look younger (sometimes quite a bit) en femme. Makeup certainly helps, as does fake hair hiding receding hairlines. Then there's lighting and a nice smile and Photoshop (oops, did I say that?).
Update on the demographics in this thread (see my message #121): pretty much the same distribution, with fifties totaling 49 members so far. Median age is 56, which is also the largest group by age. My wife looked at the charts and commented on the relatively flat line across 20s-30s-40s, then the sharp spike at 50s and strong showing at 60s. My hypothesis: Those ages correspond pretty closely to starting and raising families and building careers, then exploring neglected or repressed feelings in the empty nests typical of later mid-life. Any responses?
70 and a new member. Your theory on the age distribution is exactly parallel to my experience. Perhaps the increasing openess of our society and the presence of such forums like this one, are enabling older ladies who hid for so long, to come into the daylight.
Laura
Started on my own at 11, 41 now, look early 30's male mode, look 20's as Soriya :)
I'm over 50 but still less than 60
