Your female name *merged threads*

I picked Kaitlynn because I thought it sounded cute and sexy and the same time. I am not sure of the specifics of why I picked it. Other names that I really like are:

Jennifer
Brandy
Chelsea
Tammy
Stephanie

Hey, maybe someone else has an opinion on this. Out of all the names that I considered I wanted to pick on that I had little connection with, or predisposition to. For instance, I did not want a name of a girl that I had previously dated or had a crush on, no relatives or close friends, as well as noone that I was not particularly fond of... I wanted to make it my own identity and let it evolve naturally.

Does that make sense?

I chose my name because it is the name of a long dead relative, who was a lesbian, but was never able to "come out", because she lived in the 1800's. She was also a musician, and I have felt a connection with her on that level ever since I was a very young child. I like to flatter myself that she would have approved of my tansgender characteristics.

My real name is Randy so I just changed the "Y" to ee
Randee. Unfortunately the British interpretation means horny. But Randy is my actual birth name. I'm sooo new to all this CD and TS stuff.

Mine just kinda popped into my head. Josephine Michelle Larens. I thought it sounded pretty, so I stuck with it.

I originally used "Kim" because my wife suggested it and I wanted her to be as comfortable with this as possible (she isn't).

I chose Meg after the name came to me during a past-life regression.

I tried Jill, but it never felt right. I don't particularly like my birth name either.

Yesterday when the site was down I created a yahoo account enfemme and used Mikaela as the name, so I guess that decided that.

i thought sarah was a nice feminine name, so i went with that :-)

So I've been going by Ashe for over a year (short for Ashelynn) and I'm thinking I want Amelie to be my middle name. I still need a last name, though. I'm thinking something French, but I don't know what! Ideas?

I've likes Penelope and Marie for a while. however when i take the real plunge and change this body i will most likely stick with my real name which is Rickey and simply change the spelling to Rickie. i have a character on second life i named Rickie Crystal and i like that very much so i may go with that

Picked Kelly because my guy name starts with a "K" as well so writing it isn't that much different.
I also don't know anyone personally with the name of Kelly so there is no awkward situation waiting to happen.

I'm Jemima Bates.

Jemima because

1) I'm a gem
2) It starts with the same letter as my real first name
3) I think it makes me sound like a posh girl (which I'm not, really)
and most importantly
4) I love the shortened form 'Mimi' so much, and wanted a name that could be shortened.

Jemima or Mimi, I don't really mind. Love both.

My mother gave me my name..
One time she told me "If I had been a girl, my name would of been 'Francine' ".
I remembered that when I began crossdressing and have used the name since.

My wife picked it. It is her initials.

Hi! The name I use here at the Website comes from the title of an 80’s pop song, the music from back then reminds me of when I was growing up (and of a time when I was perhaps braver!) and when I would go out to thrift stores and shop for clothes and when I was becoming more conscious of dressing-up.

My male given name has a few corresponding feminine ones which I quite like although I often see some exotic names which I think I would prefer, I guess I haven’t really decided there are so many nice names to choose from I guess I should jot them all down and make a list of favorites and try to pick out the one I really like! For the moment I think I’ll stick with Rio :daydreaming:
