I've never been into real BDSM kinda stuff, but I am constantly curious about the things that have been a "normal" part of history.

Corsets, for example. I have been tightly laced for several days in a row and I've enjoyed the sensations, but I also knew that after a few days I'd have the luxury of the unlaced life again. But what about the perfectly ordinary girls and women who were able to take daily corseting in stride for most of their adult life. Surely there must have been times when the constriction was maddening, when all they wanted was just to get the food to go down into their congested stomach or to get just one or two really deep breaths into their compressed lungs, yet they went right on smiling and conversing. What is it really like to do that day after day?

While it may not be bondage in the traditional sense, but it is the stuff that gets my mind (and sometimes my body) wandering.
