Has anybody heard of the oldest boy in the family being the most likely to crossdress

I'm the oldest of 4 brothers and 2 sisters. ;-)

Not necessarily the oldest, but I inherited at the age of nine when my brother died. Coincidentally that is also when it all started for me.

I am the oldest of 3, 2 brothers.

I am a middle Child. Older Brother, Younger sister. I have always, as far back as I can remember enjoyed sneakin her clothes, and tryin em on. We went to a catholic elementary school too. So those cute little school girl clothes, I got to wear them.. nice... I still love to wear them.. But, yeah, I think for me, I know i didnt get much attention growing up, it was always what the oldest or the baby wanted. But I dont think that had any bearing on why I dress.. I think I just have a little something extra in the chromosome dept. That makes me feel the need to follow what society deems feminine. The same as any girl growing up, watching what means to be a woman, and wanting that.

Im the youngest in my family and the only crossdresser as far as I know.

Well I'm the middle child,older brother,younger sister.I actually wore my neighbors panties and camisoles before moving on to my mothers and sisters under garments.I gradually moved away from Moms things and focused on sis's lingerie and Prom/pageant dresses of course I used their shoes and make up till I got my own...

I'm the oldest of three. girl, me, girl I have heard of this too on a new broadcast and I cannot deny it I am the oldest boy.

I am the oldest in my family of origin, too. I wonder if being the not-so-macho oldest son of a macho oldest son, whose father (my grandfather) was a macho oldest son, influenced me to admire and eventually emulate the women in the family?

I'm the youngest by 11 years. I was the "oops". Already had 3 boys and Mom really wanted a girl.

I am the youngest of 3 boys and two girls. I suppose my parents had 2 and a half of each.

2 sisters and 1 brother, I am the youngest. I know my brother doesn't crossdress, but more and more I think he might be gay.

Oldest of three - one brother and one sister... maybe I bonded with my mother too much? Maybe my Dad didn't do the role modelling right? Maybe it's genetics...?

I hear there's a correlation that men who regularly buy women's clothing tend to be crossdressers. Far more likely to be true.

out of 4 children I am number 3, youngest son (2 older brothers) and sister is the baby.. but what do I know, I am an airline pilot and a magazine said Pilots are usually firstborn... lol I can never get it right

I think that one is mainly true of men who buy the womenss's clothes for themselves to wear :doh:

Its interesting but I would have to say it's a hypothesis and nothing more. I have an older brother who as far as i know doesn't cross dress and really isn't the type that would, I am his exact opposite and I have had a basic course psychology and I would have to say there is a much deeper reason for why it is we do the things we do.

I have read that oldest boys, only boys, or male only children seem to have a propensity to cross-dress but I haven't really cooked the statistics to know for sure. I think you have to factor in alot of random data like parent-child relationship, environment, and - most importantly perhaps - individual temperment to get a more accurate view of developmental causes for cross-dressing. While birth order is interesting, as this thread itself has shown, the oldest boy=CD correlation likely isn't the 'be all, end all' kind of explanation we are hoping for.

I am the youngest of two males. My brother is 7 years older. I started trying my mother's clothes at an early age and am now independently expressive in my 60's.

I've never heard about the theory but I fit in that box. I'm the oldest and only crossdresser from my family. I do believe my uncle from my mother's side was the oldest also of 7 kids and he was a crossdresser also.

The oldest son more likely to cross dress, really? I'm the youngest of 3, having two older sisters who were complete teen glamour girl role models for me. Following in their footsteps seemed far more natural than tossing a football or anything else expected. Seemed that this would be a common thread for most crossdressers, but like so many things in this crazy life, there are no easy answers. If there are, could someone please tell me?:heehee:

I can believe that. For instance I've always had light-colored body hair.

I'm the oldest of two boys and AFAIK the only one that crossdresses. I did have a lot of female influence growing up as my mom & dad were divorced though the women in my childhood weren't the most feminine (rarely wore dresses for instance, have one female relative that's a tomboy and wears skirts only if she has to and hates it then).

I have a younger brother and I have been dressing since I can remember(that goes back a long time sigh sigh)) Interesting theory but I really don't think its valid!!!! Personally I truly believe that we are "wired" before birth due to either hormonal changes within our mothers' body or a temporary emotional situation that initiated our need to crossdress. Actually I feel much more comfortable:) when I am dressed as a female and want to remain that way.:battingeyelashes:
