I have the same name,,,I just spell it different
I think my name chose me instead! It popped into my head one day and stuck. I tried a few before and they didn't seem to "connect". Now I know Brenda is the right name and wouldn't change it for anything.
hi. I call myself Sherry. I've always felt it's my name. I can't explain it any other way.......
Love
Sherry
Well I was given my name at my birth by my wife. Birth of course being the first time I dressed for her. It was really fate, since it was the name I was thinking about, and without telling her that, she came up with it on her own as well... So perhaps I really am Sabrina. :battingeyelashes:
I just switch my male name to female... :heehee:
My name is derived from my name Joseph, everybody called me Joe so I just eliminated the "e" and added on the name Ann after most of the ladies in my family, so I became Joann, Funny as seams my late Wife as Grand as she was use to call me Josefina which means Josephine but I prefer the name Joann and Just recently took on the name Marie, So on a couple of places I am known as Joann Marie. Funny when I order womans catalogs they all are addressed as Jo and my last name and the mail carrier doesnt even flinch :heehee::love:Joann0830:battingeyelashes:
I chose the name Susan because it starts with an s and has five letters just like my guy name which is Steve. Also I have known several GG's named Susan who I admired and always liked the name.
I've never gone out dressed yet, but I like to call myself Sarah when I'm dressed. Has absolutely nothing to do with my real name though!
I like the name Leslie because of somebody I know... a very girly girl that I really like...she's a real sexy woman, and I have a thing for her... so, I guess I like to pretend Im her?? probably yes.
I was named by the person who gave me my first makeover. She said it was a "strong feeling." I believe in following strong feelings.
I changed my name a few times before ending up where I am.
Well 3 reasons Kimberly #1 I loved Angie Dickinson Back in the 60's70's #2 the stones tune Angie Ans #3 I had a crush on one of the older nurses in our doctors office named Angie. The last was the biggest reason. If I wasn't married I think I would have hit on that lady As if I'd have had a chance.:hugs:
Angie
Well i know my screen name here is Ujean, but I really use the name Jamie. My grandmother is VERY southern and back when she used to watch me instead of using my first name she would call me Jamie so you could say my grandma named me. Why she would call me Jamie to this day I still have no idea....maybe she knew something about me even before I knew it myself. :)
My wife called me Nancy making fun of me for being effeminate. The name just grew on me and she calls me that sometimes, but i'm proud of it.
I've no idea really it just sort of happend though i'd put it down more to friend who started calling me Gavina (Gavin - Gavina) around the same time that Davina McCall became famous in the UK and the it stuck i guess.
Other names i've liked are Alyson and Kirsty.
I grew up during the 1960s, so when I thought of a very feminine name I naturally thought of Marilyn Monroe. Being as I am actually light years away from that model of feminine beauty, I changed the spelling to make it look like you might say it Mary Lynn.
My favorite color is BLUE
My favorite flower is an ORCHID
Thats how BLUE ORCHID was born.
.............................................thank s.......................ORCHID
Have always liked the name Penny or Penelope.Decided that Penny was the name for me and then added Lane has a surname.Liked the Beatles lol.
Love from Penny
Lilith - I thought the name was beautiful and it fit me. ^_^
Ciel - French for "Sky." It came to me in a dream I had a few years ago.
I think this is fascinating! 17 pages already! I guess we really do want to share this one! Many different routes, but many similar.
I didn't have a "name" for many years, I just dressed a bit now and then. When I started realising what this was about and that my "other side" would never leave, I realised that "she" should develop as someone and have a name... a sort of "flip" version of my male name... Kaz fitted, felt natural and I like it... though it is a common diminutive in the UK for Karen. So I'm Karen, but prefer to be known as Kaz... :heehee:
I always like Daphine
Hi i'm a newbie on here - dressin since early teens.
My femme name is Victoria as in Victorias' Secret, the lingerie shop. as i'm more into underwear and until now it's been my little secret :)
I also go by Vix or Vixen which are variations on Victoria. i love the name
I picked Kim because my boy name is Tim. I've always like short names as well.
These names make interesting reading. I arrived at Bronwen, which is Welsh for whitebreast. My skin silicones are not far off. Using my boy name in some form was not easy, as the only one easy to remember was Wilma. I thought of dear Fred, and thought that I must move my image away from that and so Bronwen it is. Lovely Spring weather today. Love to you all. Bronwen in Eden XXX
I have always liked the name nikki it can be sweet sometimes and at the same time a little naughty which i think fits who i am very well.
I wasn't going to post here, but. My name is a rip off of my aunt Josephine who was not afraid to speak her mind (I am) and my cousin Anne, who was so hot (a flaming redhead :D) hence Josephine Anne.
 and :hugs:
Jo
My female name is Denise...
Of course, my real name isn't Dennis but was a nick name given to me in HS. It was my wife that was the first to call Denise; originally poking fun of my HS nickname. Crazy thing is I actually liked it, thus, my female name emerged...
I felt funny at just up and taking on a female name. It didn't seem right. Of course I didnt want to be called by a male name either - and was faced with the dilemma. I avoided the name thing all together for a bit - realized that wasnt going to work - and was considering an androgenous name like Pat, or A-man-duh, just nothing seemed to work for me for whatever reason.
I sometimes felt like a super-hero whilst changing into fem mode, and I had sort of been using Natalie as my name when I had to... Natalie - Fantastic...
I just blended the two and was left with, well... Nattastic. If I were going to go FT, I was going to change it to Symerika though. I think its a Polish name - always liked it.
I picked Athena. Not sure why. It just sort of sprung from my head.
I just like te name, I've seen it spelled in a couple of different ways but I like the way this one spelled out, besides, it really fits. If I ever have a daughter I want to give the name to her. :)
~Kaylee
I used to think of myself as a Vicky or Sophie, but I then someone called me Deirdre because they thought it was more fitting for someone who was big and ugly. I even went on a friends hen weekend as Deirdre.
I became Wendy when I got an e mail address. Wendy starts with the same letter as one of my christian names. My Mother was a Young Conservative so I had a number of christian names to choose from.
I sent a list of about 50 options to a friend to choose my middle name. She picked two that weren't on the list, so I picked Catherine because I liked it and it sounded less catholic than Maria. Well, I have enough guilt already. :)
Miss Wendy Catherine Walker
I chose, or better said my wife chose, Kitty. She's been calling me that since we've been together, so that would make it over three years. It was kinda clear that it should be the name I should be carrying. Now it is also my real name.
My wife asked if I had a female name and Isaid Ithink it should be Nancy. She started laughing hard ans asked if I was bitchy as all the Nancys she knew was.I said all the ones that I knew were bitchy too. The Name stuck. No offense to all the Nancys out there Fancynancy
I chose erica because my real name is erick. In grade school, when I would get in a name calling session, I would get called erica as an insult. Since the first time I crossdressed I was 3, it didn't phase me :)
I guess this is a rite of passage. =]
Katherine Amalia Greene
I just really like the name. It's that simple. =]
I chose Ellen in part because it is one of several names I have always liked and seemed a bit English - somehow it just seemed right for this person I'm discovering. The last name, James, just seemed to go well with it and I thought only rock stars could get away with one name - :battingeyelashes:
Ellen J
When dressed I am Glynnis and when in male clothes I am Glyn.
My given name is Jack. When I was a child everybody called me Jackie, so when I decided I needed a female name I first thought "Jackie can be either male or female, so I'll use that." But I soon realized that Jackie didn't help me think of myself as feminine, only as a little kid. I'm 55 years old - not a young girl in my head, rather a woman - so I started trying to develop my own new name. I tried combining my own name with several transgender words to come up with something. One was Jack + Tran = Jan, but that was too short and too common for me. Finally I took Jack + Queen (no, I'm not gay) and settled on Jacueen. I like the way it sounds and the fact that it seems relatively unique.
;) Jacueen
I chose Alice Green for really no good reason other then I like the way it sounds and it just feels right for me I really can’t place my finger on it but I do know its who I am and who I feel like on the inside.
I'm not sure how I picked the name. It just sort of felt right. And I spell my name with a "G" because my male name also begins with that letter.
Hi, I chose the name Jessica because I thought that embodied femininity and I always thought it sounded beautiful
my name was given to me by my online misstress because she thought i was a pantie wearing sissy ****, i have to agree:battingeyelashes:
I Chose Stephanie as it is the Female Counterpart of my Given Male Name of Steve. Fortunately I Really Love the Name "Stephanie" or "Stephie" for short. The name "Ann" seemed to Flow Nicely as a Middle Name ... And the Last Name of Leigh is From a GG that I've Always Admired. Hugs Always, Stephie aka: StephanieAnnLeigh
I was trying to come up with a name to register for this site- Angie popped into my head, which made me think of the Stones song of the same name. Then the last name- Jagger? No, too obvious. So I picked Richards, which then made me thing of Rene Richards (though I am not TS). So anyway I like it.
I am thinking I will ask all of you and some of my friends if I should change my name and 'to what?'.
:hugs: hi my ex wanted brandy but i liked krissy alverez:dom:
lol love it here bye
I'm stuck between names but for now it'll be RaeAnne.
Hi all I chose fliss my wife still is not happy with it though . I have said that if she can find a name she is happy with I will use it gladly
If I had been born female, my name would have been Barbara. So what.
Marie-Claire magazine has such wonderful fashions and articles. I wished I could be Marie-Claire. So I waved my magic wand, and here I am.
Besides, I don't think Vogue would have been much of a name.
Different names really can give me a different feeling. Once in a while, I am, for a short time, Cordelia, the good daughter in Shakespeare's King Lear. I'm tall, so when I fantasize about being a supermodel, I'm Carol Alt. I think she was the first great one.
But Marie-Claire is a name that works for me all the time.
