My Las Vegas Travel Log - 4 girl mode days?
Over the summer I kept a travel log (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...ts-and-dresses) that was a bit of fun so I'll do it again but in cold Las Vegas. Yep, it's cold.
I had to meet customers at CES (Consumer Electronics Show), a rather huge trade show where the latest gadgets are shown so I took the opportunity to come a few days early to spend some out and about time in Jen mode. But the way my meetings are stacking up, I think it will be 4 straight days in Jen mode! Thats a first. Not sure I can do it.
So last night I'm packing for my max time possible: 4 nights and 3 days. And naturally, I packed 8 different outfits. 4+3=8 right? Two night time dresses, two day time dresses and four skirt outfits. Add to this the makeup bag, wig, forms, shoes, winter coat, etc., it was one big bag for Jen. My boy bag is 1/3 the size.
I'll be heading out for some window shopping, then a drink and early dinner and some people watching (I'll be looking for cross dressers but I suspect it will be the nor. This is what I'm wearing out tonight. Just a casual black dress that I love, kitten heels and I'll throw on a jean jacket. If you're in town and see me, say hi!

Tomorrow I have a makeover scheduled at noon and I'm thinking of getting a mani/pedi before heading to the outlet mall (I really need some new boots).
Stay tuned!

Update 3 - just some observations
While here, I am using Lyft when in Jen mode, which so far all the time. I registered as Jennifer and put up a profile picture so the driver knows who they are picking up (no surprises). Lyft allows Apple Pay so no issue with registering
First driver says cheerily as I enter the car: "Well hello, you're the best looking thing that's gotten into my car today!" Now he may have been hauling cattle
for all I know but it shows how people can swing with strange goings on.
Spent three hours ours at the outlet mall looking for boots and a Moto jacket. No luck. I was offered help at every store just like any normal. Overall, I'd guess I got really looked at 3 times. One time was a 15/16 year old girl looking me up and down with puzzlement on her face. It was cute. Most reactions I saw were a smile when someone recognized that I was a cross dresser. I was wearing a dress and kitten heels and I was one of very few in a skirt or dress but I didn't feel out of place. It was interesting. I think the casualness and length of the dress made it ok.
The second Lyft driver and I chatted the whole way back to the hotel. Just like normals.
Once in the hotel I walked over to an open grille and the hostess says,"I love your dress." To which I thanked her. Now, hotel workers have to do their job so. I didn't expect a "Freak!" When I walked up but she didn't have to be so friendly either. People just go with it.
Well, enough for now. I lost my mascera so I have to remember to buy more

Update #4 - I'm tired but this IS Vegas
Things don't get going here until late, but I have some early conference calls tomorrow morning so out I go for a quick lap of the mall area and maybe a drink. 8PM local time means it will probably be dead. The make up is holding really well. Fortunately the casinos are always a little dim so I think I can getaway with this outfit.
Goodnight everyone!

Update #5 - work gets in the way
Yes, work threw a monkey wrench into my day plans but work pays the bills for Jen time so it was an easy choice.
Off to Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris, hope I can get in. I'mprobably over dressed but...

Walked right on to the terrace. The view and me on the street:

Dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. Expensive but a great view from the terrace and food was delicious. Fortunately(?), a MAC store just down the street so I found my concealer and set spray that the make up person used AND remembered my mascara.

Man MAC stuff is crazy expensive.
All in all, everywhere I went, every ride, every waitperson, the other customers, the MAC sales ladies, everyone was just "normal" with me.
