All I Want for Christmas??..

I got an email this morning titled. ?What Men Want for Christmas ?. It made me think, what do CDers want for Christmas. Oh maybe some want power tools. Actually there are one or two I would like, but if I?m wishing for things, it?s the CD part of me that is dreaming the most. Now I?m mostly in DADT, but Christmas brings out the child in all of us, and dreams of feminine clothes or activities come to the top.

I?ve longed for acceptance or maybe improved tolerance from my wife for a long time. Hope springs eternal. Right now my thoughts are simple. 1) go with my wife and get a pedicure with color. 2) get a pair of feminine pajamas for winter. Nothing over the top Just something in a rayon blend with dots or piping. Classic design.

What things are you hoping to get for Christmas from someone else, realistic or not?

Since my wife passed away 8 years ago, I have completely lost interest in Christmas. My wife was the prime mover in that she did all the decorations around the house, planned everything, except for the Christmas cake which was my domain. My daughters are always asking me what I want for Christmas, and it became stressful trying to think of something. At 77yrs old, we have almost everything we need anyway. I began telling them that as long as I can have their company, then I am happy, and that has worked well for me. Yes, I still dish out small gifts to them, but I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders by not having to worry about what I want.

Like Michaela, I am 77 years old, and do not need anything. I've told my kids to stop giving me "stuff" that will be around when I finally kickoff and they will have to get rid of it. If anything, buy me something to eat. Take me to a baseball game. Help me with labor intensive projects: Don't buy me a kit I have to assemble. That brings my memory back to the days I had to assemble G.I. Joe or Barbie toys.

What I really want is some degree of acceptance, not tolerance from my wife: Hope springs eternal. If there is anything femme I desire, I'll buy it when I see it.

I know what I want. Maybe a little more BumP.

At my age I have everything I need. We stopped exchanging gifts some years ago. All the hiding and sneaking about to find something for the other became pointless. We are always together so it's nearly impossible now to get something on the sly. When we see something we like we just get it. I've gotten a few new tops, a dress, a pair of pants and a pair of shoes. She's gotten things she wanted and all is right with the world.
I used to buy things for her. One birthday I bought her these lovely earrings. She never wore them as she thought they were too expensive. Now I wear them because I love them. Oh well.

But no, we don't exchange gifts. We have each other and if we need or want something we just get it.

I have already bought myself several Christmas gifts, including a zircon pendant, a couple of cute sweaters and some casual suede booties. I think that is more than enough!

I hope my relations don't buy me anything. Especially for Sherry!:doh:

It's usually clothing and not the rite size, color, or cut!:sad:

Fortunately they're clueless about what Sherry wears so they won't even try!:heehee:

Ah ha so I am not the only one who has dropped Christmas off the calendar.
I always had so much difficulty trying to think of what to ask for and since the passing of my wife I was able to totally loose interest.
I do like to give gifts but have always been uncomfortable accepting them.
Weird maybe but that is me.

I, too have everything I need and then some. My supportive wife has given up buying me anything. We both love Talbots, so last year I bought her a nice top and black pants. She loved them.

But my male-self bought for me a shawl, a colourful scarf I can use for ponytail or hang on handbag and a perfume.

For the holidays this year, I treated myself to a full length Eileen West nightgown, a pink fleecy bathrobe, pink furry slippers and a beautiful faux fur jacket.

The best thing that I could get is a shopping trip or a meal out with my wife as Steffi, without any degradation or repercussions.

But this falls into the category of "In my wildest dreams."

It's not something that I would ever ask for nor would I ever get.

Maybe I should try sending a letter to Santa.

My wife finally came to accept my feminine side this year so this is the first Christmas since then. We are getting each other cozy flannel night gowns.

My wife and I generally do not exchange gifts but I would love to receive a cute bra and pantie set from my lovely wife. Nice time of the year to dream.

I am a lucky one. My wife and I are SO involved with each other in all the best ways. I like to get her new matching bra/panty sets. Shiny silky pretty kinds. Her worn out ones become what we call play clothes. Nothing like wearing her silky panty's I have enjoyed her in. I am a giver and not much of a getter. Never know what I need or want for just me. Maybe a nice heavy duty tape measure. I prefer to get my outfits and she loves me getting her outfits. I have great taste I am told. When she gets compliments she is always saying my husband got this for me. Makes me smile. Anyways, Happy Holidays to all you wonderful people.

Getting a makeover is almost entirely in your control. Ulta, Sephora and MAC would all be willing con-conspirators.

Amanda of True Color Artistry used to have a studio in Bethlehem PA. I went there for a makeover and photoshoot years ago. My profile pic is one of the hundred plus photos that Amanda took while I was there. Unfortunately, COVID put her out of business. I saw her in male mode at Keystone 2024, but I'm not sure if she ever reconstituted her business.

Then again, there are always Makeup Artists willing to give transformation makeovers at Keystone for a price. But they book up very quickly. Elizabeth Taylor is a local (DC) girl who usually does makeovers at Keystone. Google her.

I asked my wife for a nightgown for Christmas and I know she purchased it as I saw the packages when they arrived. Other than that, not a damn thing.

I have always wished for a pair of nylon stockings but always get socks.

You know kids complain when they get socks and underwear for Christmas. If I got the right kind these days, I?d be over the moon. Panties and sheer hosiery. A CD dream.

Traci, I'm with you on acceptance and tolerance from my wife. Along the same line, give me the courage and wisdom to reopen that conversation. Beyond that, world peace ... or a gift card for a make over in my stocking would be nice.

Christmas lost it's appeal to me many years ago. Lots of reasons for that... However, it is a big celebration in our family even though our kids are grown and away from home. They insist on being home for Christmas and bring spouses. It's a wild time when they all get together and I do like that. For a few hours but it goes on for days!

In the past, I always dreamed of a group of women who take care of me and help feminize me. For Christmas we would always get together and exchange sexy lingerie, makeup, everything girly. That was the fantasy, of course.

I?m in Australia so it?s summer. I saw this beautiful Christmas playsuit in a shop and the material was so soft and beautiful. I would love it but my kids dont know and still at home, so no point as quite pricey for the few minutes I may got but man I would love it.

I'll be with my boyfriend on Christmas lounging around in my lingerie all day, and those two things are all I need!

I'd love to be able to get up on Christmas morning and slip into a bra, tight christmas jumper, skirt and (ho ho ho) stockings before starting the day with my family... without a second thought about being seen by somebody who shouldn't.

As the OP, I am throughly enjoying this thread and hearing of your Christmas dreams or maybe plans.

I was just waiting in line at a store and saw the big rack of gift cards for purchase. The one that caught my eye, or maybe it was the one that I could see through the pink fog, was one for Ulta. Suddenly the thought of someone giving me that with the expectation that I would use it for Traci got my mind swirling. Another Christmas dream for me!

What would be a wonderful present, was if my spouse offered to take me shopping for clothes for Mercedes. I would be happy to be in drab, well wearing my favourite panties underneath, and have her helping me pick out some items that she would be relaxed to see me in. Then a fashion show when we get home. Just not sure how Santa gets that in my stocking.

I have never been excited by the Christmas season. I guess that stems from too many disappointments as a kid, but that's a whole separate post. I never received what I wanted. My "gifts" were always some sort of clothing, socks, underwear, pajamas, the list goes on. Stuff I needed... You get the gist. Call me Scrooge.

To this day, as an adult, I have always made it a point to give gifts that are truly gifts, not something you need, but something you wanted.

What I would like for Christmas I already have. Three children that me, and my now ex, raised to be outstanding adults that in turn have started their own families with grandchildren to boot! My only desire is to continue to be a part of my children's and grandchildren's lives!

As about half the girls here I would like more acceptance and freedom to be a crossdresser. Since I don't think I'll pay the price for that. Some new black pumps and some cute jeans and tops.

My wife asked me what I wanted. I said nothing, but my GG friend Michelle was having a 50th birthday party the Saturday after Christmas and I wanted to go. She asked if I was going to dress, and I said yes and she said OK.

The party theme is dress like a grandma, so I'm going to wear some white silk pj's to the party, pj's I gave to my wife 20 years ago, but reclaimed when she never wore them.

I'm still lo0king for that cute Santa's Helper outfit that fits! :)
