An open letter to 'her'
I watched you walk into the bar Monday night and couldn't stop looking at you.
Your hair hung just below your shoulders and your makeup was very tastefully done, not too little and not too much.
Your brightly colored striped dress fit you perfectly and your stockings, I think they were blue, were the prefect accent over your long legs.
You sat down the bar from me and smiled at me when I looked at you, your confidence was very attractive.
I wanted to come say hi, but knew if I did, I would start talking to you as one CD to another, rather than as a man to a woman.
I didn't want to spoil your night out, so I made you a paper rose and told you that 'All pretty ladies should get flowers."
You were soon surrounded by other admirers and I could see how happy you were.
You have been on my mind all week and I thought, perhaps, you might see this...
Perhaps next time...
I just wanted you to know that you touched me and that you reminded me of what is possible. Perhaps my MIAD syndrome is not terminal.
Thank you.
