Oldest of four!
3 boys, I'm the middle one and only.
youngest of two boys. If my older brother CD's he would NEVER admit it.
I am the youngest male. The problem with these kind of numbers is that they are skewed by their very own data. Every family that has a CD male but is also the only male, automatically chalks one up for the oldest male. So if things are spread evenly, the oldest male will most certainly have the highest odds.
I seem to remember a similar thread here about crossdressers being left handed. Well all of the lefthanders came in and replied while I'll bet a number of righthanders went to the next subject. Hmmmmm....
I am the oldest male child and a lefty to boot.
I'm the oldest of 5 boys. Seems like there's a lot of us. Weird!
This is really interesting...I'm not the oldest child, but am the oldest son.
Hello,
I'm the first son of the first of the first son and I don't know any further back than that. I have six sisters and one brother. My brother is gay.
middle son of three sons...no sisters. i am left handed though.
Oldest of 3.
Youngest of two boys. I'll have to peek into my brother's closet the next time I visit his house. This could be interesting.
This is really interesting! :) I'm the youngest of six children, and I'm one of those crossdressers! LOL!
I am the youngest of 3, [older brother and sister]
But we are 5 years apart and according to research that changes a lot.
I'm left handed, and so is my grandmother, mother and sister.
My grandfather, father and brother are right handed.
So it seems being left handed in my family is a female trait.
So I guess I fit right in as one of the girls, lol
I though the research showed the younger ones were more likely?? IDK - I wonder if this is just for CD'ers or if it is the same for us TS's as well?
I'm adopted so I don't know where I'm at in the bio family. I am the oldest in my adopted family though.
I'm the youngest of 3 boys, with the younger 2 being CDs.
Scarily accurate... I too am the oldest sibling. Though I grew up mostly with my mom & sister which I would say was the main influence to my xdressing. My story of where it all started is similar to yours Leah, I am 35 and started when I was 10, but we've all done our purging... now I just can't seem to stop despite being happily married.
thats interesting to hear. I can't believe how many replies I've had just today on this. This is great.
Leah
Oldest, too.
WTF is with this very real pattern?

Wow! I had no idea that a lot of the older males were left handed. I find that interesting since I am right handed and the oldest of 5. I'd like to thank everybody for all the posts on here. I feel like I have learned a little more about this subject now.
Leah:)
weird, I'm the oldest brother in my family.
Leah, why don't you - (a) convert this to a poll; and (b) change the question to read first born child who is also male likey to crossdress? I want to say add an option for left-handed or right-handed, but am not convinced there is merit there. However, it would be interesting to extract information from a sizeable cross-section of society to see if left-handers have a stronger connection with the feminine within them.
To answer your original question, I'm the older of 2, the other being a younger sister. i see many more"masculine" features in her. To be frivoluos, i've hated my uni-brow and took care of it whilst she seems to have no issues with hers. :D
I'm the youngest out of 9. 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. Granted, I did mostly grow up as an only child after I turned 8. Just had that revolving door at my house with my siblings, lol.
