Hi I started this year with colon cancer surgery . Went back to work in the middle of feb. , worked 2 weeks and then hit by 3 blood clots in the lungs . Spent a couple of days again in the hospital then at home with the wife working at home (she hates me being Teri). Went to the doctor this morning and i am out of work for another 3 weeks but the wife is now back working at the office working and Teri will get some free time . Thing are looking up(I hope).

Teri, my heart goes out to you in this rough patch. It is very difficult. My last year and a half has been one major problem after another. Mother died, one of two daughters died, recovering from prostate cancer, wife had uterine cancer and now a bit of breast cancer. But let me assure you, it does get better and even during that time there are moments when you forget it all and just enjoy life for a little while.
I hope you get some dressing time as that can be a bit of a release from the stresses, although temporary. But when it gets like this anything that can provide a few hours of escape from the issues can help a great deal in getting through the next period. Hang in there. It takes a good while to recover from cancer and its treatment and it is an up and down affair.
Teri, I'm sorry to hear about your health issues and hope that you fully recover soon. Enjoy your chance to dress.

A lot of sad news in this thread, but still light as well. My sympathies for your hardships and respect for your courage.

After a week and a half ,i feel a lot better and hoping to go back to work on monday .The time with Teri has been great and very helpful. She has been very much the strength i needed to rebuild my muscles so i can get life back to normal . You ladies have also been a strong hand in my recovery with your words and prayers . THANK YOU VERY MUCH .
