Like how to remove Gel nail Polish,what the best and shinnist polish is.
I see a GG women and i discuss how to perfect there nails,makeup are hair and i know where to buy stylish dresses and heels.
This makes women question how i know this.this makes them suspicious and assuming.
sometimes can't help it.i'm just hopeless Like a penny with a whole in it.
My daughter who get makeup samples every week was telling me that they're all samples of expensive products.
She said, "I'm thinking about getting a nice contouring kit not that you know what that is"
I almost said I do know what a contouring kit is but I didn't. LOL
I Know Right! I have to bite me tongue a lot as not to expose myself when I know more about what they are talking about than they do! LOL!!!

I've had to bite my tongue on more than one occasion to keep from answering a question I shouldn't know "anything" about!
Best not to tell women how to improve their looks because its the same as telling them they look bad or not pretty enough.
Kind of rude schooling them on how to do their nails or make up because they have been doing it all their lives.
You do what you want I'll just sit on the sidelines.
Say you learned from a sister or you just pay attention when women talk? I used theatre as an excuse before I came out.
Summer, I have had guys often ask me how did I know so much about nail polish and other items used by gg's ? I just look at them and ask, don't you know about such and such. like they should, if they don't ?
I too have to pretend to know nothing when my wife and daughter are talking beauty products. very sore tongue! :daydreaming:

I have been busted before when some ladies I work with were discussing bras and I added my 2 cents and they said how do you know cat was out of the bag only two of the lady's still work here but they still know
I like talking about fashions and makeup to a point but then I fake ignorance. Just enough info to make them wonder??
I have GG friends who discuss beauty products with me often. Fortunately, they have never asked how I know so much or even indicated they cared. They seem to enjoy a "man's view." If only they knew.
Have you considered that you could avoid this problem by keeping your mouth shut when the topic comes up? Or asking questions like you don't know anything about the subject?
Or maybe you're enjoying the attention?

You're asking for it: you're simply outing yourself after you say things that blatantly point to your knowledge of beauty and fashion if you aren't a specialist.
