Craziest thing I did was to buy a piercing gun and a bunch of studs. I proceeded to put 3 more studs in one ear and 1 in the other, then pierced my nose and 3 around my lower lip! Actually got lots...

I'm in much the same boat as Paula, except my wife knows that my ears are pierced although she perfers I don't wear earrings around her.

What I had used for a while were old padded bras and use 2-3 to get a decent size. Also used old shoulder pads from old blazers ect.
