My wife and I wear the same size but mine are the nice ones.

When the weather was colder I simply bought a couple of satin nightshirts and began to wear them to bed. Nothing was ever said. In the warmer weather we both tend to shun clothing in bed.

A short term solution like a storage space might be a good idea for now. It will give you time to figure something out without having to go through a complete purge.
