I agree- I've had similar experiences. My hair is rather long, blonde and always in a pony-tail.
One time my wife and I (100% in drab) were out to dinner when our waitress comes up from behind me...
I find that it's a huge stress reliever. I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home occasionally and those are always my favorite days of the week!

Agreed. Given that smell and taste plays a part it's interesting that Revlon has given up on both in many of their lip products.
Congrats on the positive outing. I used to live in Upstate NY and know that the people there aren't always the most progressive.
I think that whatever brings the most peace to my loved ones makes the most sense. Probably means nothing pretty, but as others have said, I won't be around to notice.
