A question comes to mind -- Has anyone here ever told someone they were a CD, knowing that person would simply think you were joking? I do it all the time.

So far as I know, no one I've told has re-told. But I don't think I'd care if they did.
No comments in male mode, unless you count "You look better as a woman."
And besides, moms know everything!
Reminds me of a something my non-CD cousin did many years ago at a mall, perhaps just the opposite of this story. The parking lot was quite crowded, so he dropped his wife off at the entrance and...
It warms my heart.
[QUOTE]If you need an excuse for the family [grandson] Tell him the dress belonged to your dear ,departed wife and it makes you feel closer to her to wear her clothes. It's a very common copeing...
I must be the exceptoion to the rule. As a guy, I know I'm not much to look at, but en femme I get so many compliments.
Although, while I fully understand this comment, it still stings a little...
Would've, but I didn't want to be "all dressed up with no place to go".
After answering all the usual questions for a GG friend many years ago, and fulfilling her request to see me dressed, she said I was the "most normal" person she knew.
Very nice to hear, but it made...
If a man asks me if I'm gay I say ,"Does it matter? Unless, of course, you find me attractive."
Just the word "passing" bothers me -- It sounds as if someone's handing out report cards.
And I am generally in the former category. (Does that make me a trans-former?)
(Looking down at my feet) "OMG! I AM wearing high heels! This is so embarrassing!"
Do I crossdress? Yes.
Do I go out CD'd? Yes.
Do I pass? No.
Do I care? No.
CDs have an advantage on days like this -- I'm in NYC, where we just got a foot of snow, and the weathercasters are advising us to "dress in layers". I have lots of layers at my disposal! :)
Friends/neighbors are cool with it. As for family, I outlived most of them, so I suppose I'll never know. ... although wife wasn't happy about it. But since she became my guardian angel, she thinks...
I never tried to join the Red Hat Society, but I once saw a Red Hat Society T-shirt in a mail-order catalog, so I ordered one with my femme name on it. If I wore it to one of their meetings, would...
No girlie gifts here either ... but you KNOW I'm absolutely gonna don me now my gay apparel!
This was nice but also disappointing -- I hypothetically asked an absolutely drop-dead-gorgeous woman "If I asked you out, would my CDing stop you from saying yes?"
She immediately replied "Hell...
If such a person lived on my block and told some other neighbor "Did you know that the guy who lives in that house wears women's clothes?" the neighbor's response would probably be "Yeah. I know....
First movie I ever stayed up past my bedtime to watch on television was Some Like It Hot. Which side does that reflect?
I hope you can be as lucky as I've been -- My wife died 21 years ago and immediately became Barbara's guardian angel. During her lifetime she opposed my CDing, but since then she's been right beside...
To which the appropriate rsponse would be, "Sure -- buy me dinner first."
If you don't drown first.
