I did the same thing on POF, ran a personal ad that was honest about my CD. It was not deleted, but on the other hand I got no replies to it either. As such, I now present as a man, and when I do...
I agree with your different definitions for crossdresser and transvestite. I have had the same opinion. As such, I view myself as a crossdresser using those definitions.
I feel that ambivalence is better than rejection.
I think that she did know (you can't change your face shape or facial features without surgery), so there are 2 possibilities: either she is being very tactful and nice about it (maybe she thinks...
Live by the Golden Rule and "Judge not lest ye be judged."
Oh but I did answer the question. I tactfully answered with, "Why are you wearing my name badge?" lol
She didn't have a comeback. lol
I am not willing to take a vacation en femme on my own. With supporters, I would be willing to do so.
As part of joking around the other day at work, a gg coworker named Yvonne jokingly said, "Are you a woman and is your name Yvonne?" Other workers were around - some who knew of my CD - and stared at...
That is a very good way of describing it.
I got into a playful naked "fight" with an ex-girlfriend when I was about 20 years old (I am 33 now). She took off her bra and panties, threw them at me, and suggested that I put them on. So, I did....
I have gone out many times dressed as a male wearing sandals with my toenails painted. Nobody seemed to notice. That makes me wonder how many men have painted toenails hidden in their shoes. lol
For me, crossdressing is a merging of genders. Ideally, I would like to keep my male body but dress and live as a woman. That would be a merger.
That is the stereotype. However, it did not take me long after joining this site to come out on my non-fem facebook wall. I would not have done so if not for this site. Thanks for the support y'all!!!
I came out as a CD on my real (non-femme) Facebook Wall about a week ago. While nobody clicked to "like" it or comment on it, nobody unfriended me or said anything nasty. In short, nobody seemed to...
LOL! That's a good one!
As I read through the threads on here, on occasion, I see people downing other's opinions, en femme appearance, etc.
While I do not agree with everything I see on here, it is not my place to judge...
I have met your type of accepting woman before: she is accepting of the CD at certain times; at other times she is not. She obviously has limits on it. I once had a gf that loved my dressing in all...
I remember feeling the way that you do. I am 33 now, but I remember not being able to fight the urge to CD at 18. As you get older, you will understand where us older CDs come from.
I paint my toenails. Since warm weather started, I have been brave enough to wear sandals. I live in a small conservative town but nobody has stared. Because nobody has stared, that makes me wonder...
I have been in that situation. What I did was get girly clothes that could barely pass for men's. When asked if they were men's or women's, i would always say men's.
My answer is the same for all of the questions: "Yes".
The LGBT community is accepting and supportive of us T's (both hetero and homo). So, she will most likely be accepting - maybe shocked - but accepting nonetheless.
My act of crossdressing is an expression of my feminine side. I also happen to prefer women's clothes.
