USNR 66-75, active duty from 68-70. Quit dressing for a few years.

Viet Nam era, USN. Got real lucky, ended up at Pearl Harbor with a real interesting job, attached to FAU/CINCPAC/CINCPACFLT. Just gave the CD thing up for a couple of years.

I discovered a weight loss program recently, it's good news and bad news, but works every time:
Bad news is it's called heart surgery.
Good news is , feel great, lost 25lbs, and 2 dress sizes:)

-13 in Fort Wayne this morning. I'm underdressing, pantyhose and leggings, just to stay warm.

I too had heart issues a couple of months ago, must say it's not my preferred method of losing weight, but it works.
I'm down to a 14 from a 18/20

A few years ago, I had multiple ear/brain surgeries. Now have a hearing implant. Have long hair now to "hide the scars":)

Currently, I'm waiting for knee surgery, so I'll probably wear more...

Not on the forum, but I did run into a former co-worker at a restruant once. I was in drab, she came up to me and asked if I knew who she really was. I did, had a nice talk and became friends.

I've only been stopped at a check point once. It was in Missouri on I40 near Springfield. Not a DUI check point, but a Drug Enforcement Checkpoint. They ran everyone thru a rest area and had dogs...

Remember it well. The bad part was, like others here, had to deal with the draft so I joined the Navy. The good part was being stationed in Hawaii.

The best thing about getting old is that I managed to avoid dying young.

A couple of years ago, I had some real health issues. The morning after my brain surgery, I saw the sun rise and figured out there was no such thing as a bad day.

We all have issues of one form or another and we all can use a shoulder to cry on every now and then. I'd love to chat

For practical reasons, I'm letting it grow in order to hide surgery scars and a implanted hearing aid.

I've had numerious medical issues over the past few years. I have choosen not to tell my Doc's about my CD'ing......not revelant to my condition.

I would find out what the laws are in Texas concerning discrimination as it affects the LGBT community and go from there.
