Hello,
What you describe is very similar to what we call here a "MIAD"; man in a dress. I am a miad, I spend most of my time dressed in a skirt, nylons & lingerie. And that's it. I have no...
I wear pantiehose once or twice a year. I am a garters & stockings guy and wear them all the time, except in bed or shower. I agree it is very nice to feel them on you.
Nylons. I tried them when I was 5 and wore them ever since, well, maybe from late teen years. For me crossdressing=nylons, everything else is incidental. One day I dressed but with bare legs. It felt...
Of course you belong here, and welcome!
We have such a variety of crossdressers and all respect one another. (Usually). I am a MIAD, and since you've been around for a while you probably know what...
You are so lucky to have found a woman like that. I am sure that many here are saying "I wish that happened to me". I know that I do.
About 5 and tried my aunt's nylons to see if they fit my legs. They did not. They were too long for my short legs. Now I wear nylons all the time and they fit.
Naturally introvert, but as I get older life forces me to be somewhat extroverted.
As a MIAD definitely level 2 as I have no desire to have any feminine traits. The clothes I wear are masculine skirts, lingerie, etc. as I am a male.
Thank you, Di, It's a very well presented survey.
1) When did you start dressing? About 5 but seriously at 10-12
2) At what age did you pick your name? Long ago but changed it recently to my...
It's nice to hear that times have changed and there are corporations that have knowledgeable people in management that are willing to help people like you. All the best to you in the future.
You are so lucky. We all wish there were more women like that.
Great post Aunt Kelly. The problems with the world is that there are too many generalities. People assume that everybody think the same. The population consists of individuals; each with his own...

I join the chorus: You look great, no wonder you had courage to go out.
There are lots of good replies and as usual all are positive as in my observation most members here are accepting of other ways of crossdressing even though they may differ in their way.
I also...

their response was we really could care less what you wear because regardless of what you are wearing you are still the person we have known and loved all these years.

Teresa,
I do and always have respected all members here. I never criticise or disdain anyone.
I have read most of your posts and know that you are more of a TG than a CD. CDs being men do...
No.
As a MIAD I wear dresses and skirts but I do not feel feminine.
Great story and as everybody said you are a good parent. There is one thing I am wondering about: One does not become TG overnight there must have been signs and indications during childhood?
I just want to add that after so many years of crossdressing I became so used to it that I no longer consider that I'm crossdressing I just dress not to be naked.
On a reflection I think I'm...
I bought many items in stores even in the old days when transvestism was very much looked down. But most my purchases these days in on-line as it is much easier to find what one likes and is careful...
Hi Stephy,
There are as many reason as there are crossdressers. We are all individuals and have our own outlook on crossdressing. What works for one does not for another.
When I joined here I...
Hi Newbie,
Since you've been here for more than a year you are probably familiar with the term "MIAD": man in a dress. That's what I am. That means I do not impersonate a woman. I wear what used...
Years ago when working in an office we had a "wear your national costume day". Most of the women wore very colourful dresses. Our Canadian guys said "our national costume" is t-shirt, jeans &...
Good story, but I am not surprised all. You present yourself so well; always impeccably dressed.
