No car so has to be local (unless going away to a hotel which isn?t practical right now). I live it the city though - not a small town. Is going in my own neighbourhood a terrible idea?
Got two days at home next week so finally going to use one for a short walk out to the shops during the day - as Katie
Know there are loadsa first time threads on here but give me your best...
Me coming up to the till with a red mini skirt and an LBD
Manager: these are cute
Katie: (in boy mode and caught of guard): they’re not for me (laughs)
Manager: oh I didn’t think they...
I’ve seen a gorgeous pair of navy blue stilettoe sandals in my size (UK9) in a nearby thrift shop about a few weeks ago. Finally built up the courage to go in and get them yesterday. Two ladies...
He only thing I'm nervous about is walking from a hotel to the event.
Other than that just need to pick an outfit!
I get probably won't be recognisable but think another town would help me be a lot more confident! And leaving a hotel as Katie would be easier than leaving my house =]
Lol blend in with the other CDs!
Katie never hit her aim of going out before her 30th birthday but thinking of a first outing later this year - would going to a pride event in another town be a good plan? Blend in while being out?
Most of you girls know I'm pretty new to this but I think I'm getting my first taste of the infamous "pink fog" =0
I'm very skint rite now and just need a good months but I'm having huge urges to...
I've got a couple of skirts, some pumps and nail polish.
Really need to expand it so I can dress fully!
Haven't been out yet but a couple of times wore a skirt with the curtains open...
Just turned 30 if that counts!
Also only recently started living alone and never had sisters so guess I'm "young" in the sense of only getting to dress now.
Slowly building a wardrobe but not...
That's what terrifies me - could have been seen by neighbours, taken a fall, got harassment - it almost certainly would have been a disaster.
Feeling very stupid and got so much to learn =[
I think I'd love to go out and about but I am so so so far off that - very few clothes, no idea of make-up, no experience of this
Just now v hungover and pretty shaken how close I came to a...
I was at friends birthday party last night and had a LOT to drink.
During the night I started getting a massive urge to go out dressed later (I've never been anywhere near that before - u know...

Wow thanks gals!
Uber temptation to buy more shoes or an OTT costume but based on this advice going 4 a top and wig next - then maybe treat myself to some jeans for xmas
So so much to learn...
As i said on my intro thread am now at a place in life where I can dress freely (I'm 30 next month and finally in my own apartment). The best bit of advice on there was to build up my wardrobe slowly...
Aww c'mon gals! I was already agonising over what to buy for my (very small but growing) wardrobe this month - now am wanting a tutu to!
That's exciting and terrifying all at the same time!
I'd set myself the goal of going further with pumps and skirt this weekend but already chickening out lol
Tempted to set myself a big goal...
Thanks gals =)
Ok it's going to be skirt and pumps next sat! Maybe will pik up a top in the morning too.....
Like I described in my first post a few weeks bak I've only recently reached a situ where I'm able to dress.......now (very) slowly building up my wardrobe and loving it!!
Still a looonngggg way...
So jealous!!
Never been out but hopefully this will be me by...i dunno...Halloween 2018!
Nice one girl!
I've recently been very tempted to go out in ladies jeans and a pair of black ballet flats - do you think people are likely to notice the shoes or are people not really looking there?
For years I fantasised about having my own place and female clothes so I could dress whenever I liked.....I'm sitting here now in a tight white mini and red 4" heels in MY house with complete freedom
