For me it has always been a series of ups and downs. Sometimes the desire is strong and other times it is not. But for a lot of years the desire has always been there and no matter how I feel, I...
That sounds like great fun! Thanks for sharing a very nice experience.
I think about it a lot. No constantly, but some time each day and have been this way for years and years. It often comes to mind if I see a woman with something on I like and think: "Gee, I'd look...
Good luck and hope you have a great time. I would love to try your challenge myself one day. Have fun!
This is a wonderful list, full of great observations. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Wow, sorry to hear about the way you got to where you are, but hope this all works out for you. My best wishes.
A great story. Keep it up Jackie!
I've answered this one before. I always liked the name Anne and think it is very feminine. I've been Anne a long time now and I hope it pretty much describes me now.
As I have aged, I think I have learned to appreciate the woman in me more. I pay more attention to looking the age I am and it just feels right.
When I was working I was pretty buttoned-up with dark suits and white shirts. But I always tried to wear a bright colored tie or one with a great pattern. Anne loves to wear classic looks but also...
My professional skills are no help. But I think I have a pretty good sense of imagination and I can see what looks good on a GG. I hope so anyway.
This happened to me twice. I was fully dressed and it went off. I just stayed where I was figuring it was a false alarm which it was. If it had been the real thing, I guess folks would have met Anne....
Gosh, it was so long ago I don't remember. I do remember the heart pumping and being very excited when I bought a pair of black patent pumps from a discount shoe store back in the mid 1960s. What a...
I agree, I want to control where, when and how I am seen.
Good for you! Exciting.
Very sorry for your problems. But you sound like you are taking it as best you can.
Nice story, you handled things well.
I dress both for looks and for how it feels. If I look good it makes me feel good. Even if I can't pass, the good feeling is still there.
I think that is where I am right now. I just enjoy the process and trying to look as good as possible.
I guess I could stop if I really had to do so, but it would be against my will and I would be very unhappy. The "urge" does come and go sometimes and there have been plenty of discussions about this...
Actually I think that is pretty funny. The guy should get some credit for being clever if not very cool.
I find I can do little things more often, like underdressing. But still don't have the opportunity to dress very often. But the older I get the more pure joy I get out of becoming Anne. It just feels...
I don't think it is just one thing for me. I like all the things you mention. But perhaps it is looking in the mirror or looking at a photo and then thinking that I don't look too bad. That is what...
Bless you and hope you continue to get better. State of mind is a big thing in helping you cope with ill-health. Good for you.
