Anne,
I agree. I'm 6'3" and my height was always the reason I decided not to transition--twice. But it doesn't stop me from going out when I can because it helps when I do.

Very nice thread, Sara Jessica! I am glad you found happiness in the middle path. I think I have as well although your last point about seeing fewer familiar faces and posting less fits me to a T as...
Funny, when I was younger I used to pray every night that somehow I was really a woman/girl and would wake up the next day in my true gender. Over time I understood that a miracle wasn't going to...
Have fun, Amanda. Look forward to seeing your pictures.
Take a look at this web site----

There are a number of transformation studios listed in New England.
I want to add a resounding no as well. More importantly, my answer would be the same if it were a cd/gg couple or any type of couple. If one SO is uncomfortable with the others friends then I would...
Samantha,
Have you looked into any transformation/dressing services in your area? Many of them can help you with essentials and they can also help size you. If you mentioned approximately where you...
My wife doesn't worry at all. She thinks I look ridiculous and she tells me whenever I tell her that I am going to get dressed and go out.
I was 14 when I read about Jan Morris undergoing SRS in 1972. I finally understood why I was so confused about my gender. I already knew about other transsexuals like Christine Jorgenson but I had...
You look terrific, Christy!
I struggle with this as well. I like getting dressed and meeting other TG people but then I run out of things to talk about. I'd love to meet some ladies that would enjoy a dinner out, a show or a...
Wow! Good for you, Felix. Another wonderful role model. Maybe someday in the future MTFs will be able to donate their testicles to FTMs.
Leanne,
I understand the compliment. I love your boots. And you look terrific as well.
You are a lucky girl, Kali!
I am completely with you on this, Karen. My wife knows, tries to understand and does not want to participate.
Michelle,
It is nice to hear that you and your wife are trying to get back together and the positive effect that it is having on your life. I hope your reconciliation continues!
I do most of our food shopping and I often get teased by women friends that I see that my spouse is lucky she has a 'wife' to do her shopping. Maybe she was just making a similar comment.
I love the pictures! You look terrific and I really admire your courage.
Wow! What a wonderful story. You are such an inspiration for all of us.
Abigail,
I totally understand how you feel. My spouse has been out with me a few times a number of years ago. At first she wanted me to relax and act feminine. But later she changed completely and...
I feel the same way at times although I rarely put myself into a social situation with a bunch of heavy testosterone guys. It does make me recognize how different I feel about my gender than most...
You have a wonderful SO, Fiona!
I have met a former father and son at SCC for a number of years that have both transitioned. Both ladies were at SCC this year. I don't know how they learned about each other. Maybe someone hear on...
Wonderful points, ladies!(And I agree with most points) But who are we going talk with if we criticize everyone.
I am totally with you--I always dress my age but I always dream about what could have been.
