I like my femself; it makes me feel more civilized, i think girltime should be a requirment for all kids.
If I had time for a PT job I would put my app in as a CD and see what happens.
I work for a construction company, ( I don't do construction work)
I think the best job for girls like us would be to work in a women's clothing store where we'd be forced to wear the clothes we sell, so people can see how good it looks. Of course, we all have our body flaws, so we'd have to make it work somehow.
wouldn't that be nice!
are they hiring?

That would be a perect 2nd job for a CDer.Great idea.
you can do anything depending on the people you work with, well maybe not a male model if your enfemme :> as long as you dress appropriate and not like a hooker you should be ok. With the economy right now it might be a little tougher.

What about a home-based business instead of a job? Either one you create or one of the party plan outfits?
I was a Pampered Chef consultant for a while and did some shows en femme, mostly for gay audiences.
I've seen a couple of shows, even for "straight" crowds, done by two different crossdressing Tupperware reps. Both of them put a lot of energy into really amazing performances that completely transcended the crossdressing element, and both of them were top sellers nationwide.

I ran into a crossdresser just a few weeks ago as a matter of fact. She worked part time at Dress Barn, and said it was a very open minded company.
I can't speak from any personal experiences though, I'm forced to wear scrubs to work.
I know the job I'd like but a house wife don't pay enough.

This might be a little too revealing, but how about a CD porn star? I swear I've seen Ron Jeremy wear women's clothing a few times. He was much thinner back then. Now, the thought of him in women's clothes kinda frightens me. LOL
A hair styleist or a makeup artist at MAC you could get away with dressing and going to work
I agree with what Traci had to say - just put your application in as a CDer

One of my friends here is a waitress. I'd like to work as a woman, but I don't think it would go over well at home.
Yeah, I second hairstylist and/or MAC makeup artist. That takes no training whatsoever...

I think Tamara was being snarky. Not that it helps...
If you want to be a hair stylist or make up artist, you will need some training and experience, and you'll need to be able to demonstrate that you can work with a variety of clients on lots of different looks. If you are willing to put the time in, it's a possibility.
I do know that MAC does have MUAs who are drag queens or are transgendered.
