Hi gang!
I went to my Friday night nail appointment last night, and I told my nail tech I mentioned that I had a cookout/pool party to go to on Sunday. She said that I needed new toes, so off came the old polish, and on with the new.
She chose "Fifth Avenue" by Essie, a orangy-red and topped it with a holographic top coat that really sparkles and adds depth to the polish. I was really pleased with the results - I just can't keep looking at my feet this morning!

Very nice looking toenails Dana. I assume there are other's at the nail salon when you get your nails done? If you go while en drab what do the other clients think about a guy getting his nails done with colored polish? Personally I think it's great when a guy is not afraid to wear color polish and would be real proud of him if I was at the salon while he was getting his nails done.

Andrew - my nail tech works out of her home, and she reserves Friday night for me alone. Pretty sweet deal, one of the many reasons I love her to death!

Dana, very nice... like the effect of the top coat. I had mine done yesterday in a salon... complete pedicure with a light pink pearlized polish on the toes when done. Can't stop looking at my feet either

I love that orange/red color! I bought a bottle of L'oreal polish the same color about two weeks ago and it's almost gone! It's so summery! And perfect for the pool!

I tried to take a close-up pic to show off the hologram top coat, here it is. Don't know if it captures the incredible depth it gives the polish, each tiny sparkle is made out of that hologram material, and the effect is really cool!

I've been wearing almost the exact same orange/pink color on my toes for over a week now (without the hologram effect, of course) and think it's just sensational. But now that I have seen you raise the standard so high, I think I should just wave the towel and choose another color.

I have been painting my nails (hands and feet) for eternity, but there is no way i'd be able to go a salon for a professional job! Possibly if the place had a special time for 'men only' sessions, yes i'd be in for a try!
