What do you do whilst cross-dressing?

I have not found the courage to go outside yet and I only do it in the comfort of my own home infront of nobody.

Just wondering what you ladies do when your at home whilst CD'ing.

Also how can I make myself feel more "girly"

Play a certain type of music, or?

For me, I usually just do my every day things, but only when the house is empty.
Sometimes I get adventurous and have a bath in whatever I'm wearing, it is a good way to relax.

My future apartment will allow me more freedom to roam around dressed as I please. Hopefully one with a balcony

I usually just watch TV or maybe a chick flick. I haven't got the urge to go outside just yet. I do wander around outside in my yard lounging because I am lucky to live a few miles out of town and no close neighbors.

I like cooking when I am femme. Gwen Stefani usually gets me in chick mode...that or some 80's pop (Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, etc..)

While I am also confined to my home with curtains closed I try to otherwise enjoy a typical day.

I will wear various items depending on the time of day or what I am doing. Might call up a female friend long distance and chat while enjoying some tea (this one is very nice.) Watch a movie, surf the web, eat, perform various chores. Having a shower or bath then slipping into satin robe and slippers is enjoyable. Online shopping for new clothing can be something special particularly if I actually find something I like.

Whatever comes to mind but omit the outdoor excursions.

Usually I'm limited to dressing up when I travel. When I return to the hotel room the first thing I do is get changed into my finery, put on my wig, makeup and shoes. I feel great freedom dressed up. Then I put a chick-flick on TV.

I've not gone out in public, but I will leave the curtains open - as long as I'm not on the first floor that is!

I haven't had the nerve to call room service - but I've thought about it quite a few times.

For me it's all about being relaxed and feeling as sexy as I can. I too take pictures of myself in various poses when I can.

I share a place with others, so I'm confined to my bedroom when dressed up. I have to change back just to use the bathroom. But I Watch TV and surf the Web mostly. I also do a lot of self-hypnosis so I'll dress if I'm listening to a "pantyboy" or gender transformation session. Oh yeah, I have been dressing to meditate since I got on my Goddess kick.

I also have been dressing to sleep lately, chemise and sometimes bra and forms and since I get up at 3 AM for work, have done quick walks through the house with the bra under my shirt as I prepare for work.

As I was typing a reply to another thread after I first signed on tonight, I got a phone call from a GG in another town whom I've known for 20 years. I wish we were more than just good friends but I get a kick out of chatting with her while I'm dressed. I think, "well you treat me like a girlfriend, if you only knew how I looked right now." She doesn't know about my dressing, though I think she did spot some panties I accidentally left on the motel room bed when visiting several years ago. She's also done pedicures with me and Naired my back after I revealed my new (mostly) hairless body to her last month.

Many years ago, "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" was an original Comedy Effort that was put on as a Play. It was NEVER intended for children...it was satire!

Anyway, they finally got the rights and put the whole original play on HBO.

What is my point? Well, "The Bit" I remember the most was an exchange between "Jombie" and "Pee-Wee." Jombie was this "genie in the bottle type character," and was just a head with turban confined to a box. Jombie was all excited because he had ordered himself a pair of hands and they were soon to be delivered. Pee Wee asks him, "what's the first thing your going to do when you get your hands?" Jombie just gives the audience a very knowing smile and waits for The Huge Laugh.

And so, when you ask "what do you do, when crossdressing?" I think an awful lot of them are probably doing just about the same thing that Jombie was anticipating!

Here's an idea the works for me....and thank heaven for digital cameras!

First...dress the way that makes YOU feel the most girly....now....gather up a few copies of Glamour and/or Playboy....and find the models with your favorite poses. Light some scented candles...some nice music....a slow speed fan....mmmm

Now...with your camera at the ready....try duplicating some of the poses...including as best you can...the facial expressions.

Most of the photos will be downright silly....but believe me....feminine you will feel....and besides, you can immediately delete the pics you don't like. But you're going to find some you do like...these you copy to your PC...and then photoshop to your heart's content.

Besides surfing here, lol, I do the house chores. Being single it is a must. I also do some TV watching and checking out the buys at the stores, let your fingers do the walking first. And of course all the cooking, baking and the candle stick maker. lol

Sounds pretty boring but is the girlie things I did not have to do when my wife was alive.
Man I miss that girl, not just for the things she did while I was at work but the company.

So if you are married or have a SO give her a hand and don't complain about those things as it can be the most girly thing you can do inside the house.

If I'm in full makeup, I usually spend most of the time trying to take pictures and shoot a little video to capture the moment. I have to take a LOT of pictures in order to end up with a few good ones and time flies by quickly as I run back and forth from behind to in front of the camera, and swap out the memory card frequently because it only holds a handful of images in high-res mode (my current camera doesn't take standard SD cards, grrr).

I look in the mirror a lot when I'm in full makeup. There are a lot of mirrors in the house and I often get stuck as I walk past them, and find myself posing in front of them.

Sometimes, I'll go for a drive when in full makeup.

If I'm just dressed without makeup, I'll often do house chores or just relax for a while. Often, I'll be on the computer doing my regular thing - writing something for my website, working on a creative project, browsing the forums here, general net browsing, etc. Sometimes I'll watch tv or play a video game.

I also enjoy watching chick flicks (when not C/D'd I really don't like watching them but get me in a cute outfit...) and playing video games. I have a modded PSP with about 14 gigs of memory that I take EVERYWHERE I go! I need to find out if there are any good "femme" type games. I usually play hack & slash, first person shooters and of course Grand Theft Auto!

I would like to play D&D roleplaying a female while dressed as a female (that should have been a good sign--every time I played D&D I created a FEMALE character to play). I just gave up playing Magic the Gathering competitively. I have 5 fun decks that I kept to play for fun.

So are there any other "geek/nerd" C/Ds out there?

Once upon a time I might have sat around the house all dolled up. Since venturing out the first time, however, I have absolutely zero interest in dressing up unless I'm going out where the party is. None. Zilch. I guess it's that it was something I dreamt of doing for so long that when I finally did it, there was no point in doing otherwise. Sort of like taking the fun out of it, except it's more fun now really. Now that the dream is reality, I need a new dream; some new will'o-the-wisp to chase.

I don't know how to explain it, but don't suppose it matters much.

I just do all the things I would normally do. Only difference is the way I'm dressed. Probably check out in the mirror a bit more and spend too much time re-doing the lippy. I'm quite often dressed when I'm on this site.

I am not able to dress very often, do not go out and am even quite restricted around the house because of living in a highly visible location. In winter it's better because curtains can be drawn, but I'm rarely on my own in the evenings anyway. For me, dressing is all about feeling, experiencing what it's like to be in female clothing. So, within these limits, I decide on a style, period, etc and walk around, doing whatever I can and enjoying the feeling. Sometimes I have managed to do a necessary task - like filing, turning out a cupboard, office work, etc - and really get to experience what such jobs are like in skirt, heels, bra, stockings, etc. I can't help but admire the "real" women who cope(d) with such things all the time!

Most times I don't go anywhere when I'm dressed. Once in a while I'll venture out somewhere, but for the most part, this is a stay-at-home activity. So I'll pour a glass of wine, put on a movie or something, play on the computer, and putter around the house.

And if it's one of those times when I have enough time on my hands to bother with putting on eye makeup, I'll take pictures, too!
