The longest I have been dressed was 4 days at Southern Comfort Convention. There is nothing like going to a conference where you can focus on being your femme self for days. Like many, I did not bring any boy clothes with me. Unlike my idol, Kimberly, I flew in girl jeans and top but not with makeup and hair. That is the next step.
For me it was nearly 6 months, I was out at the last place I worked, so I dressed every day. It was the biggest PIA (Pain In the Ass) I have ever gone through. My day started a 0700 and I lived a 35 minute drive away. Just getting made up each morning added a good 20 or 30 minutes to my getting ready. While I loved being able to be my girlself in a non-judgemental environment, it was so wonderful and an abosultely great place, I am actually glad to be back to deciding when I feel like expressing my girlside and when I don't. For some reason, once I came out, and got all the acceptance and support at work, I felt obligated to show up as Joni and not John everyday, even on the the days I didn't feel like it. I think it gave me some insight, at least a little, into how real girls must feel some mornings where their work situation expects them to "present" every day.
Hugs...Joni Mari

"Because equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who's confronted with it."

about 5 1/2 days. Long story but my wife was out of town and so were the kids. Dressed full time although I didn't leave the house. I really felt like I was "me".
I don't count cause I'm TS, but its been over two years.
Umm I do take off my clothes at night to go to bed in my pretty nighties though.

Happy, Happy, Happy!!!!!
The spouse is leaving tomorrow and won't be back until late Wednesday!
So...my answer to the question is: about three days...and I mean day and nite....mmmmmm
Nighties, my petticoats....lots of makeup...bubble baths...my pretty dresses, slips....a few peignoirs....mmmmm!
Somthing like these is what I'll be wearing!!
About 2 days. Everyone was gone. I went to the store and got everything I needed. When I got home I painted my nails (fingers and toes) got dressed and stayed enfemme for the next 48 plus hours.
About 8 hours in full femme, then went to bed in stockings and suspenders and bra.
I have been around here for a l-o-n-g long time, but am so deeply hidden in the back of my closet that I have never had the guts to post anything. That may now change. But it only needs a start, doesn't it ?
I am an old codger (yeah, seventy going on forty) and my wife of fifty years sadly died back in January. She didn't know about my alter ego, and certainly would never have approved. She did find my 'stash' a couple of times about twenty years back, and that was all but the end of our previously intimate relationship.
Now that she's gone (and I really do miss her deeply), Kathy comes out to play most evenings. I seldom go the whole way, but from the neck down I am ME most evenings from about 8.00 pm through to perhaps 10.00 am in the morning. I daren't go for much longer, because our postman tends to call about 10.30 and my daughter or son are likely to pop in at any odd moment. Like so many others on this forum, I've had a few 'close calls'.
So 'What is my longest time dressed'? Fourteen hours per night, almost every night, including sleep time, for the past six months. I know it's sad, but that's life. I did once extend that to thirty-eight hours when I was reasonably sure I wasn't going to have any unexpected callers, but was on edge all through the daylight hours in case the doorbell rang.
Now that I have done this first posting, I will probably add to my background shortly.
At SCC one time I took vacation days from work. Checked into the Hotel Wed Night and stayed till Sunday Morning. So counting half days lets say 4 days!
Before my kids moved in with me I just about everyweekend went fem from Fri nite till Sunday evening. These days i dress just one night or so a week.
Kathy, I want to say how sorry I am about your wife. That is a tough thing to go through and I am sure your heart stays heavy.
As far as your dressing, however you dress is good as long as it means something to you, neck-down or otherwise. And I don't find dressing at night sad, why do you feel that way?
We all look forward to more posts from you. There is no need to sit back quietly. Join in!
I would love to dress for several days or weeks, I'm sure that would appeal to many of us. But my life would not allow me to do so, I am in the closet. I would like to try for a few days but with roommates, it's a bit impossible as I am generally confined to my room. I suppose it would be possible to do 2 maybe 3 days but honestly, I don't like being stuck indoors for that long, I like getting out.
So I guess it would seem that if someone like me wanted to dress for more then a couple straight days, we'd have to come out of the closet. Just thinking out loud here...
I dress most evenings but only for 6 hours at most
Last year when the company I worked for closed it's doors. And being out of work, I was pretty much dressed 24/7 except for the few times I had to go for an interview in drab. I went shopping, gased up my car, went to a couple of movies, all as Lisa. That part was great, but being out of a job wasn't.
Lisa Renee
i would have to say about 10-12 hours...
39 days to be precise, thats because my family had gone one vacation and it was just me and my mom for 39 days , we have 9 people in our family . My mom supports me a lot, God bless her.
Let's see, I pretty much dress everyday now that I am out.
So 24/7 almost

I've gone a fortnight straight. By the end of it, the novelty had worn off a little and I was glad of some male time. Looking back on it, it was an exciting time to be able to wear whatever the heck I wanted to.
I do manage an 8 - 12 hours session a couple of times a week on a regular basis at the moment when the mood takes me.
3 days are prob max for me,,,many times,,,truly enjoyable !!!
Twice I have gone five days with the support of my wife. Our daughter was out of town at camp. Both times I was able to completely shave.
I really enjoyed the experience. I took over the domestic chores as my wife still had to work.
The hardest thing was not leaving the house and the nails. At the end of the week it felt good to get back to male mode.
One more year of high school and the youngest goes to college. So I hope to increase the time I have to dress.
Fortnight?
Nine days. I take a week of vacation in the dead of winter. I apply acrylic nails Friday evening and spend the entire week in female mode. Everything I wear and do is feminine for that week. Everything comes off Sunday evening nine days later. Usually by that time I am ready to be the male me again. I really look forward to that week.
I sneak in a few long weekends throughout the year too.
About 14 hours, the second day of this year's Be-All conference
4 days for me. However almost every weekend I'm Wendi for at least 24 hours
