Damn! I want to look like her!

Before I popped on this site tonight, I swung by the local 7-11(guy-mode), to get a frozen coke and some candy. While looking at the candy, I noticed two very pretty, 20-something, girls paying for their stuff. They were dressed very nice and had the most beautiful dark hair. One of them had a killer pair of black, peep toe heels on too.
All I could think about was wanting to be like them, look like them, ect. ect. It wasn't until i was walking out, and caught my reflection in the glass, that I realized I was a decent looking guy, and enjoyed being the part. That I would have probably liked to date either of those lovely young ladies, back in the day when I was younger & single.
Anyways, I realized that I liked my posistion in life. That I was able to experience, and enjoy both genders to a certain degree. Specially with my female side being out of the closet somewhat, and being a few places within the last year..
It was a nice revelation, because most the time I'm singing the, "I wish I was her" or " I want to look like her" blues.
    Anyone else ever feel this?
So I like dressing like girl. BIG DEAL!

Yes, I often see girls around, that make me think I want to look like that. It sometimes works for inspiration for my next shopping trip as well. After all we need to get our ideas from somewhere and attractive genetic girls are the best source.

I get that feeling alot. There are several young ladies in the apartments I live in that I look at and say "God, I wish I had a body like that." or "Why wasn't I born like that?". Of course it is not just limited to them, it is most attractive females I see. I want to look like them, and be like like them. It is depressing at times knowing that it will never happen and that I was the butt of God's practicle joke at birth, and was born into a body that doesn't match who I am.

Absolutely, every time I see an nice tight waist or a pair of peel off tight jeans,i go there a bit in my head, and then I think about my qualities in guy mode and how important they are as well, things aren't balanced perfectly all the time, but why should they be.

I get that feeling more and more often these days and I DON'T get the satisfaction of looking in the mirror later and thinking to myself that I'm a fair looking man. lol

On the other hand, Kimberly, but for your lovely blonde hair you might have been one of the attractive young women Jazmine saw... I know that I have Jazmine's "wanna be like her" feelings nearly everytime I see your pictures.

Yes, I feel that way quite often. I'm not ugly, but I'm not one of those guys that women find especially attractive, either. I'm glad my wife is fond of me, because being single nowadays would be tough for me. So I take little satisfaction in my own physical attractiveness. However, transitioning would be out of the question, too. I don't need to relegate myself to having to wear a wig for the rest of my life during all my waking hours. No thanks. So when I see pretty young ladies, I feel a longing for the life I might have led, and a lament that I was denied that life.

Any money found in the laundry is MINE!

It's great when you find some kind of internal balance. I had always struggled with conflicting feelings - finding females attractive but also wanting to emulate them.

I do the same today, but I'm content with it. Even with my wife, I find her attractive and yet I want to emulate her style at the same time.

I agree with all you said. I'm a truck driver, so I see a lot of young ladys that I admire how they look. So many times I see someone wearing the cutest outfit and I wish I could look like that. I can't "pass" but admire those of you that can.

Same happens to me and every single time the question is: Do I want to look like her or do I want to date her? Depending on my mood the answer changes every single time.

Strange how the activity of watching the well dress females in a mixed oppertunity. The male wow, vs the TG admiration. Female watching is such a treat.

    You're singing my tune, Jazmine!

This happens to me all the time. I'll see an attractive woman all done up nicely looking as pretty as can be and then it starts. While admiring her beauty, I'll be wishing I could look as good and often experiencing a sense of jealousy that I cannot. I get jealous of my own wife at times and even tell her that. It's not the "I hate you" kind of jealousy or anything, perhaps envious is a better fit. It makes my wife feel a little odd when I tell her that. It's a feeling I think a lot of crossdressers may experience.

I also like having the ability to switch between the two genders as you indicated. There are so many more experiences to understand in existing this way and I really love that aspect of it. I've got plenty of guy-stuff in me that is better explored in guy-mode, and I've got plenty of girly flair that needs to come out as Gabrielle.

I wish I could transform my body into a more feminine shape though. I think that is what gets to me the most when I find myself admiring a beautiful woman and being envious of her beauty. I can starve myself and exercise until my joints wear out... there are some things that just won't ever look feminine enough for me... and there is only so much that makeup can do for my face.

All the time, I think it is a universal feeling we all have. Whether it is a new outfit, shoes, hair cut, nails, etc. we see something we like and therefor we try to imitate. Have fun and explore the differences.

That's a very interesting question. It seems that I want to look like her and be dating her at the same time!~!!!!

Does that mean I have a split personality, doctor?

Yup. Nothing like the confusing internal debate about wanting to be the girl, and wanting to date the girl at the same time, all the time, all day long.
Some causes of crossdressing you've probably never even considered: My TG biography at:http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...=1#post1490560
There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

Aah, but others do: your wife, kids, friends, co-workers, everyone who knows you sees the beautiful person that you are.

And so as not to go off topic, when I see young beautiful women, I too wish I looked like them! But then I remember the lifetime of experience I have and I don't feel quite so bad. I suppose this attitude can work for everyone.
