Because its fun. That's the reason for doing anything worthwhile in life. Seriously. Don't over think this question.

I say why not!!!!
For many reasons, there some of us who love the feel of the feminine finery, then there are those of us who want to be girls, and yet those who want to emulate women, as a form of respect. What ever the reason we do it because we want to, we need to, and it makes us complete.
Just my thoughts, maybe others will agree or disagree, I don't know.
Because if I didn't..I'd be crossdressing!
But liek, why is it fun, hmm?
And so we go, on with our lives...
We know the Truth, but prefer Lies.
Lies are simple, simple is Bliss.
Why go against tradition, when we can admit defeat,

Well..because in heart and mind and body (maybe) we are women. There are numerous explanations for the why. I suggest just enjoy it....your feminine side my dear. Love others..enjoy your life.

My female cousins, of my same age, loved to show off their wardrobe with reckless abandon, and I empathized.

When I was born my mom and dad were given a receipt (birth certificate) that said male, but by the time I was 9 years old I knew I was a girl. So mom and dad were raising me as a boy and I was too young to tell them they were wrong. I dress as a woman because, really I am a woman.[/SIZE]
Since I identify as a woman, it just makes since.

Why do we do it or why do we think we do it? There's a big difference. Based on many years of careful analysis, I know why I think we do it but I can't test my hypothesis so it remains just that - a hypothesis.

I have a basic desire to be a woman and the closest i can get to live the lifestyle i wish for, either by dressing in feminine clothes or whatever I will do it. I just wish I had the courage, opportunity to openly express my wishes I would be so much happier.

A lot of you have given reasons that I would list too. When it comes to getting dressed up, I have long felt that women have it much better than men, so many different options: dresses, skirts, blouses, slacks, shoes, makeup, etc. But when you look at nature, where there is a difference in appearance between the male and female of a species, it seems like it's almost always the male that is prettier, more colorful etc, especially when you think of birds. So my point is, why should it be any different for people? Why can't men dress in the prettier, more colorful clothes?
Quite simple.
Because I feel like being a woman even I am not.
