Most nervous and/or embarrassing moment while dressed.

Another 'what is your most...' thread, but I think many of the girls here like the opportunity to tell a story. So here is mine. Once of each, embarrassing and scary (nervous).

    First the nervous.
I was walking out late at night and had made a few mistakes. I was in an area that I shouldn't have been in (where no gg would normally be walking) dressed as NO gg would be dressed anywhere around there (short short black skirt, white lacy top, high heels, black stockings). All I can say was that the night was wrapped in a heavy pink fog and I wasn't thinking clearly.

Of course, as soon as the car hit its brakes as it passed me, I realized that I wasn't in a very good situation. Did they know I was a guy? Could it be an unmarked police car that was about to give me trouble? Was it a car full of of drunks looking for somebody to beat up? Or worse, somebody to molest? Was it somebody I knew from work or a friend who'd recognized me??

My heart was pounding as I froze, the car stopped so its rear bumper was just about even with me. There was no sidewalk here and I was on the shoulder of the road, just inches away from it. I was suddenly extremely aware of just how exposed I was in my short skirt and heels.

Before I could do anything, the passenger window rolled down and I heard a male voice say "Do you want a ride?" I didn't know what to do, so in my very best femme voice said "No thank you".

"Are you sure?" he asked. "I'm a student up here also, so it would be safe". I realized that he thought I was a college student from the school a few miles down the road, walking home from a night on the town. "No, really" I said again. "I'm OK".

After asking one more time, he finally gave up and drove away. I think he just left with the impression that I was a woman too nervous to get in a stranger's car at night.

As soon as he was out of sight down the road, I RAN back to my car before he came back (or somebody else came along). After this incident, I started being a lot more careful about where I went out, and how safe I would be.

    So, the embarrassing moment...
I had something happen to me that every woman dreads. I had used the ladies room while shopping at Kohl's and, despite checking things several times before leaving, had somehow managed to leave the rest room, walk all the way back across the crowded store and return to browsing in the lingere section *with my skirt tucked up in the pantyhose in the back*

It was a very flowing but at the same time light skirt, so no matter how much I'd felt around to make sure things were in place before leaving, I'd missed the part in the very middle of the back that was tucked well up into the wasteband of my pantyhose.

I honestly don't know how long I shopped and how many people noticed but didn't say anything. At least several minutes maybe as many as 15 later while I was browsing a shelf full of panties, a woman sidled up beside me. "I don't mean to embarrass you" she said "But I think you might want to fix your skirt".

I ducked quickly back to where there were some mirrors, at the same time already brushing my hands along the back of the skirt to see what was amiss. Even after I saw the problem in a mirror, it took several moments to pull it all out and fix the problem. by the time I looked around to thank her, she was long gone.

In the end, I'm just thankful that I had pretty undies on that day. I could certainly see them plainly in the mirror before getting things fixed

So what is your embarrassing and/or nervous moment?

Having two young teen girls spot me as a guy in a dress, and stalk me all around the department store, trying to get a better look and gigging between themselfs the whole time, I finally got near the door and beat a Hasty retreat.
I have never been out much so I never have had a scary moment.

Most nervous.... Walking into a busy Walmart enfemme the first time... Grabbed a cart and just walked around the store and was shocked no one paid me any attention.. Or pointed and laughed.. Then when checking out the SA asked if I found everything and I quietly muttered I had... Still no one even looked my way... The next time out shopping there was no nerviousness at all..

Embarased.... When I got my skirt caught in the toilet in the ladies room on the WV turnpike and nearly had it sucked off me... So I was standing there drying it off with the hand dryer when a little old lady came in and asked "are you ok dear" I turned every color of red there is.. Lol.

coming out and first trip out

Most embarrassing moment was probably the moment my wife forced my hand and I finally blurted out my crossdressing confession. I'd been intending to do it for so long and the problem was only half related to my dressing, the other half was that I had kept it from her for so long.

My most nervous was before I'd come out to my wife. It had to be my first trip out of the room and across the street from the Motel to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. I had made pink fog decisions on dress and makeup and didn't look all that good and my skirt was slipping down. My shoes hurt after 50 feet on pavement and my homemade breast form started to ooze out from under my bra. By the time I made it to the first door of the casino I went inside and found a slot machine to sit at. I caught my breath, put a dollar in the machine so I could wait for a cocktail server to come by. The dollar got stuck and the red light on top started flashing. A slot tech came by and I had to talk to someone for the very first time while I was en femme. No drinks, no help to get my money out of the machine and now there were three guys looking over in my direction. At me? I thought so and left the casino to head back to my room. On the sidewalk, passing people I knew were going to show up in my office back in Utah some day, I would limp, hitch up my skirt and push my form back up. Limp, hitch, push, limp, hitch, push. Up the block to the crosswalk and across the street, waiting for the three guys to tap me on the shoulder, or worse.

They didn't follow me, no one came to visit my office and talk about my poor wardrobe choices and my feet eventually got better with different shoes. The next trip out was much easier as have been all the ones since.

Great thread! I'm sure many of us that venture out have a ton of stories to tell.

Nervous... The first time I used the women's bathroom (in a club). It was empty when I went in, I was tucked and all and had to sit to potty. Next thing I know, several women came in a were waiting for me to finish (there were only two stalls). The door to the stall I was in didn't lock from the inside. So, when they came in I grabbed the door so that no one would open it. After a little while, I finally got up the nerve to leave. So, after my business was done, I exited the stall.... There were 5 or 6 women in there. They didn't say a word as I washed my hands and touched up my face.

Embarrassing... Was going to a friendly resturant to meet a friend for lunch, a decent place with outdoor sitting. We were both supposed to be dressed. I was prolly dressed a little too much. As I was approching the resturant, I cut across some landscaping. My heel got caught in the sod and down I go! Right into a freshly watered bush! My skirt, top, bare legs, hands and shoes were filthy! I got up as quick as I could, put my shoe back on, walked back to my car while digging in my purse for my cell. Called my friend to tell her I wouldn't make it, she figured as much because she and several others saw me bite the dust. I never felt so clumsy and embarrassed. She wants me to change my female name to 'Grace'. Very funny Cindi.
I just want to look pretty.....

My scariest and most embarriasing moment were the same. I was in High School and was trying on some pantyhose-they were lycra and really shiny that a GG friend had given to me. I was sitting on the floor and my younger sister came in and asked me a question, as the door opened I tried to hide my legs as best I could. she asked the question and left. We never spoke about what she saw and She never asked about what I was wearing and I never asked her what she saw. to this day it has never come up. That was about 17 yrs ago.

My most nervous moment is easy----it was the first time I went and met other Tgirls at a local gender group. I was terrifed and nervous at the same time.

My most embarrassing moment came when I was in high school. It was during the summer and I was home from work in the late afternoon so I went upstairs to take a nap. Grabbing my mother's silkiest night gown I locked my door and jumped into bed. Imagine my embarrassment when my younger sister opened the door to wake me for dinner and saw me sleeping in my mother's night gown. I sheepishly told her I was wearing it because it was soothing on my skin and I thought I was covered with poison ivy. I then made her promise not to tell anyone. I never heard about it again but I did fix the lock so no one would come in unexpectedly again.

I can't think of anything which would qualify as either. I'm no more embarrassed or nervous about presenting as female as I am about presenting as male.

OK, I know this is for the CDs, but when I read your post, Christi, I (a GG/FAB) could so relate to the getting your skirt caught up in your panty hose thing! Been their, done that!! I guess it takes a sense of humor to be a girl (born or otherwise!) Hope it wasn't TOO embarrasing for you!

    Most Nervous:

I think that, for many of us, one of the really scary surprises about going out those first few times is being stared at. Men stare at you, women stare at you, and you are in flight/fight panic mode.

It takes a while to realize that while as a man you pass through the world largely unobserved, as a woman, particularly a young and/or attractive woman, you are "on stage" whenever out in publlic.

My scariest incident was probably in a small desert town in California when my spouse and I were on a roadtrip. It was a hot summer day and we were both in shorts and tank tops.

We stopped at a little coffee shop. Naturally, after a long drive, we first headed to the Ladies Room. Two county sherriffs were sitting and having coffee and they started watching us the moment we walked in. I figured I was toast.

It took every ounce of my nerve to keep walking, right past them and into the Ladies Room. My knees were practically shaking, and I was trembling once I got inside the safety zone of the Ladies Room.

Now I was sweating how to get back out! I even looked at the window to see if I could escape by crawling out, but, of course, it was too high and too small.

My spouse is cooler, by far, in these situations than I am. As we washed up, she said that we were going to stay for our lunch.

We walked out past them, heading for a table, and, as we walked, I couldn't help feeling that their eyes were still watching me, this time from behind.

I tried my best to keep my wiggle going, and felt like they were undressing me with their eyes. That's when it hit me! All they were doing was "girl watching!" Plain and simple! Something that I myself, in "guy mode," did all the time!

Sure enough, by the time we sat down and I stole a glance, they were back to ignoring us and talking to each other.

Eventually, I quit shaking and we had a lovely lunch.

So, if you are passable, particularly if you are young and/or cute, don't be surprised when other women check you out and men stare. It comes with the territory, you're in "girl world" now!

    Most Embarrassing:

There are probably some back in childhood, like the time my sister's husband caught me in their bathroom trying on my sister's clothes.

But as an adult the embarrassing moment I remember was when I was doing a cooking show en femme. I was a consultant for one of the home party kitchen products companies. I did a show for a largely gay group and decided to do it en femme (with the host's approval).

I wore a brown skirt and top and stiletto heels. I thought it looked really great.

But the slightly rough skirt fabric apparently cause it to creep against my slip, and, completely unknown to me, as I moved, my skirt kept creeping up behind me.

The audienceguets loved it, and I had a very profitabl show, but I thought I was going to die of embarrassment. Never wore that outfit again.

    Nervous:
I got into a club in a big city with a fake ID of me en femme when I was a teenager. Most of the night was fun, and I think I was too young to be scared. I don't think I got the danger element in dancing with guys. Some guy I was dancing with groped me, found out I was a guy, and flipped. Edited to remove incriminating details :-)

    Embarrassing:
I was at a nice sit-down restaurant with a friend and the waiter made a point of loudly asking me "what would you like to eat, SIR." I'd been feeling good that day about myself and beyond embarrassing it just killed the good vibes. We got up and left, and that restaurant lost two customers and two pieces of bread that they're never getting back. Really, looking back, I think he's the one who should feel embarrassed.

Probably not the most embarrassing moment (I am programmed to forget such occasions) but one which was well outside my comfort zone, and the most nervous I've been recently.

My first time en-femme on public transport was this April, going out to dinner in the Paris suburbs.
The restaurant was just two stops on the Metro, my makeup had gone well, and so with supreme confidence I left my hotel, walked to the metro, bought ticket from the machine, onto the platform and boarded the train.
In my "pink fog" I had not realised that some trains were non-stop until the distant suburbs well outside Paris. As the train rushes through my destination stop, my confidence evaporates (and with it the ability to pass), and I realise I no longer have a valid ticket, and that my French is far too limited to be able to explain my predicament.

Fortunately nothing untoward happened, and I was able to get another fast train back into Paris, eventually getting to the restaurant on the right train.

Anyway, it taught me to prepare some contigency for when such trips do not go according to plan.

    Interesting stories!

My most nervous time by far was when the cops stopped as I was walking along a country road not far from my parked car. I was on leave from the Navy and was wearing one of mom's suits and heels. Mr Cop called in reinforcements to take a look, airing my name and dressed condition over the radio. I have several relatives who thought it neat to listen in to the police band radios... They accused me of "stealing" mom's clothes, placed me against the rear of one car with the high beams of the other pointing at me, locked me in the back seat of a car while they talked, then finally let me go. I was scared to death about having to call my parents to bail me out of jail in a skirt suit then have to explain the arrest to my Navy bosses. That was about 30 minutes of hell, right there!

Embarrassed - when I had to admit to my wife (then GF) what I did. I still get a little embarrassed talking about it and while dressed if she turns out to be in a bad mood, but I'm getting over it! Other moments were my first few times out. The wig, make up, dress - all of it - was just horrible. I was made every time I looked out the window! Now, not so much...

The most nervous I can recall was a few months ago.
I was shopping at a local Target store that I don't normally go to and so I figured there wouldn't be anyone who know's me shopping at this store either.

Well, as I was walking down one of the main isles minding my own business, a close family friend, who I've known for well over 20 years, came out of nowhere from one of the side isles and nearly ran into me. We both paused and looked at each other for split second and then she turned back to her hubby to continue the conversation she was having with him.

As she did that, I slightly moved aside and continued walking, never looking back, as if it was nothing. I'm sure that if she had recognized me, she would've stopped and asked if she knew me, but she was completely oblivious.

Later on, as I was in the check out line, I thought I saw her hubby checking me out as they were getting coffee at the Starbucks in the front of the store. I just kept calm, paid for my goods, and walked out.

Not long after, I ran into that same friend while in drab, but she never said anything about our near encounter.

    Hugs!

Most nervous would easily be the very first time I ever went en femme.

It was 9 o'clock at night, pitch black, late fall and I went for a drive (I never got out of my car), but I was absolutely convinced that everyone, in every single car on the road next to me at each stop light knew there was guy dressed as a girl next to them.

After a while, I realized no one was even noticing and began to relax, but let me tell you, those first few steps out of my hotel room and the first 10 minutes or so in my car my heart was beating a mile a minute!

other than coming out to the woman that is now my wife...one of the times i have been most nervouse was just last week. it started good enough my wife did my make up and nails, we did some light housework and i decided to fix both of us some lunch. my wonderful wife was clearing the table for us to sit down and eat when i suggested that we go to the gameroom which is about 25 yards away from our house and have our lunch.i had just taken one step out the back door when her 14 year old daughter walked in the front door announcing that she was home from school (an early release day)...we had both forgotten that it was that particular day.since my wife was right behind me, she intercepted the daughter while i hurried out to the game room, making some excuse about me only wearing boxers while i was doing laundry.we both had a good laugh about it later ... even after we realized that if we had actualy sat at the table for lunch i would have been caught cold with nowhere to go.

First trip out. I went to a quiet little bar with my 'now' ex. Five minutes later in walked all the local football team. Nervous? I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. Do you think any one noticed me? Well if they did they didn't show it. The barman did notice me but never said anything.

Most embarrassing is when I was dressed to the nines and was stopped by the cops. The guy took my license and asked if I dressed up as a girl often. He then proceeded to have me get out of the car so he could search for drugs or guns. He told me to put my hands on the back of the car, but I told him it was dirty and I would just stand there. The did not give me a ticket though, even though I did speed through a traffic light.

Most Nervous was when I first went into a bar on the first time that I had gone out dressed. It really was not necessary, but I almost drove away several times and really was very nervous. It took all my determination to open the car door and even more to open the door to the club.

Most nervous was when I was driving through Boston in my earlier years. I wasn't even trying to pass, I just wanted to be brave (early seventies). I turned a corner to run into a roadblock in the middle of the block. I could feel every twitch of my body as I got close. The moment I got to the roadblock the officer waived me by and I did so without looking. I later counted my blessings, I was in to much of a rush getting out of the city to count them then.

My most embarrising had to be when my mother walked into her room to find me dressed in my sisters clothes and putting on lipstick. Absolutely no excuse will work in that circumstance.

    too many to put down

one that recently happened was I got pulled over in the interstate because my tail light was flickering. the trooper walked up to my window and looked in with a flashlight and saw I was wearing a mini skirt and asked me if I knew my lights were not working properly and I looked up and saw it was a woman I figured I was safe she asked me to pop the trunk and asked me to step out of the car. I got out very slowly figuring I was going to have the cuffs put on but then she just wanted to show me that a wire was loose and even fixed it for me. she was so cool and kept saying mam to me with all the explanations she offered. then I got asked a few by her like if I was a TS or a dresser I told her dresser but wanted to say TS as I'm going in that direction. then she told me I should be carefull as many other offercers would be more stern with me. and I got in my car she just comes out and says you have awesom legs and then told me her name. and was asking me about my top and other clothing I had on. she said goodnight and asked me my girl name and I told her jenny she then says have a nice evening jenny.
what a smile I wore all that weekend that was last sat night. I hope she sees me again I will be sure to wear something very stunning just for the thrill.

One of my most embarrassing times was when I drove into Chicago for a CD get together. I had a 4inch wide belt on that was too tight so I unbuckled it. Could not find a parking spot for about 30 minutes but finally found one in front of a church. Sure enough church let out just as I got parked. They stood around and talked. Finally I decided to just get out and walk away so I buckled my belt, opened the door and tried to exit car. My belt was buckled through the seat belt and I could not figure why I was being held back. It felt like the devil had me tied up. After a while I figured it out and walked away with my head held high and said to myself To Hell with these people.Still laugh about it . Ruby
