    Keep pushing the envelope

Every day I try to take another small step for man, another giant leap for Natalie.

Today I went into town in full femme clothes for the first time. No wig or makeup, just a guy in women's clothes: black, women's trousers; a plain, waisted blouse with padded bra under; and (what a let down) white trainers (must get some girlie ones!). I went to my electrolysis session with my very good GG friend on my arm, walked the length of the town centre, mingling with all the shoppers, and enjoyed every second of it! I didn't see anybody looking, but then, I don't care if they did. The staff at the beauty salon know about my dressing, but I asked if they felt ok about me being dressed and they were really kool about it.

Not much in the big scheme of things, it won't be on the 10 o'clock news, but it was another milestone in the Natalie Socks It To The World saga.

    Love and hugs to all

Good for you. So long as you are happy, then screw everyone else. I hope that I will have your courage someday.

This is Julie York reporting live from..."town"!

Today a person who may or may not have been female was spotted in the area. That is....they weren't spotted. As such. Passers by were not alarmed at all and most were not even aware that there was such a person in the area.

However, reports have come in of someone wearing black trousers. This may or may not have been suspicious but it is too early to speculate.

What a nice story, Natalie. I'm sure no one even gave you a second glance. I'm happy that you found the confidence to take this step, and I'm grateful that you shared it with us.

Nice Natalie, I am happy for you. Just don't pick up any strange men while out and about,,,you never know where they've been.

Thanks, girls. I remember how I was inspired by the accounts of our sisters who had taken these first steps, and I hope that others will read this and be encouraged to do the same.

There is a limitless multitude of ways to push the envelope--both active and passive...

However, if the individual doesn't even attempt to fly, the envelope is an irrelevancy...what kind of CD soaring gets done in a closet???...

    Congrats

That's great to hear Natalie. Even though my SO doesn't dress fully.. I still enjoy going shopping with him and picking out cute things for each of us to wear. It's a very exciting step.. that I hope you continue.. and keep us updated on.

Well done Natalie, I remember when I first wore female jeans, top and jacket, it was quite scary, now nearly all of my jeans are girly ones. It depends on how outrageous you go, but I've often gone out in girly jeans, top with well padded bra, jacket and girly boots, and nobody seems to notice, or if they do they don't care! I don't wear a wig or makeup (yet) but do wear bangles or bracelets (my wife bought me some just the other day) It does depend on where you are, back in February we had a weekend in London and I didn't take any male clothes with me at all and had no problems at all

Thanks, girls, for all your encouragement. It's the support from all of you, plus the examples of our sisters who have gone before, that help me to be bolder.

I am so with you in all that, Lucy. I am growing my hair, so I don't need a wig to go out, and I love wearing things that are girlie but don't make me feel as though I stand out too much. I don't usually wear my breastforms much now, I'm happy with a padded bra. And I love your idea of the jewelery, I must try that soon, I've got some nice pieces, including some dangly earings. Oooh, I can't wait to try it!!
