Now that there's a Picture Section for members only, will you post your pic with your face? Some people here are closet cdr's, and when they post pics - they hide or blur their face. I myself did that. But now that there's a pic section that only members and supposedly only other cdr's can see - would you now post pictures of yourself that even show your face? I guess I would show my face now.

I will now start posting my full pic with face, though I didn't in the past.
I will still keep hiding my face, though I'll post pics of me.
I don't know what I'll do.
I want to stay private and never post a pic of me.

I have wanted to Post more pictures but I have only small opportunities to x-dress and less time to do photos. I have also just recently got back into my X-dressing again after quite some time off. I'm not afraid of anyone seeing my face but I want to do my photo some justice. I like the idea of the Photo Gallery

I don't want to reenforce the closet mindset as I say that there are reasonable caveats to posting fully-faced...It's always a considered balance at best...where the internet is concerned.

Many of you closet types are worried about discovery by family, spouses, neighbours, or employers...or just simply ashamed to admit personal shame.

I have no such concerns... My only concerns are sexual stalkers, or (particularly) resourcefull home and identity thieves.

Ever since I realized how drastically different I look in female mode, I never have since had any problem showing my face.

I seem to have one of those faces that becomes amazingly different, with just a little help from a bit of makeup and a disguise---Sorta like Lon Chaney. Below are a couple of my MALE characters---looks nothing like my female avitar---and my normal face is just as different from either of them---

I started out showing only non-facial pics out of fear of discovery, shame and knowing I don't really make a very attractive woman. But then all you kind and encouraging ugly buggers made me feel so right at home I decided...WTF? So now I show my face just so I can offend you with my public indecency! A members only picture section would make me feel more secure, though.

I feel bad about not showing my 'complete' self, when i post pics, but i love to show you girls my new outfits that i have bought, so if it means headless pics then, that's what i do.

I am pretty new to completely dressing, and i am building up a wardrobe, to start with it's expensive to get everything you want, (must have more shoes!)and wigs and breast forms are the most expensive items that i want. (and boy do i want 'em bad!)

So, as soon as i can get a wig i like, and put on some slap without looking like coco the clown, you will eventually see me completely Dee.

You make a very good point in your last sentance. Cds who are out and about have the danger of stalkers and sex fiends, who might be lurking. This is why posting photos should be well thought out. It is easy for the closet CDs, they get dressed at home and stay at home. Then when the closet CD goes out, he is dressed as a man, the fears of a sexual pradator are not with the closeted cd. This very much a concern for Cds who go out, especially at night. There are enough wackos out there, without attracting more from the internet.

It's real vexing problem!... The better the CD becomes a expressing his femme identity...the more likely the possibility (or probability) that a couple of "someones" out there, "in the shadows" so to speak, will begin to fixate, or potentially target that visible CD... With the unsuspecting CD becoming a focussed symbol of whatever demons and sexual rages are crawling inside the stalker predators.

However...None of us should become slaves to fear... That's not what our minds are intended for.

Yeah, I guess I should worry about forum trolls or bad members. One thing I wouldn't want is my picture to be saved, edited, and posted on a porn site.

I wonder, have any fully exposed face showing members had any problems resulting from posting their pics?

I've had one admirer PM me asking if I meet admirers, but I don't do that. It was flattering though.
