Fortunately the economy has not affected my job or earnings, things have pretty much stayed the same. But I have been concerned about the future for my employer so I have reduced my spending somewhat until things improve.

No change for me. I was a roadwarrior living in hotels and entertaining clients at night for many years. After that, I had no desire to see a restaurant, club, airport, etc. for a long long time.
I spend most of my time on art/building projects at home, so I do not spend the normal money people blow going out entertaining themselves.
So, there ya go...my self-justification for spending whatever I want on clothes...lol.
