Gay or straight TRANSMEN ONLY!!!

Hi.
This is a question to transmen, I would like to know how many of you would class yourselves as gay, as many transsexual women regard themselves as lesbians. Or are you hetrosexual, i.e do you prefer sex with men or women. I hope I don't offend anybody but just interested if it is the same for you.

Hi Karen, thanks for the question! I think most of us would agree that we consider ourselves as men, and therefore "hetero" means we like girls and "gay" means we like boys. Personally, I'm a horndog for the ladies. But you didn't hear it from me!

straight.
The ZP Poem
Everytime I go to pee, I'm gonna be thinking:

"There's this kid somewhere in PA named Ze. I wonder if Ze has to pee. Does Ze have to hold it, or can Ze let free? There is no fun with infected kidneys.
Not everyone's body matches their psyche. Whether be sir or whether be she, everyone deserves a safe place to pee. So come on people, let people be."

And then I'll realize I've been rhyming to myself and the guy in the urinal next to me will beat me up.

Gay. Giving up men is more difficult than giving up cigarettes. I just can't do it.

Definitely gay, although my boyfriend may've influenced me in becoming a teeeeeeeeensy bit bi (in that I'm not quite so actively repulsed by/frightened of girl bits as I used to be, haha)
Yes-- socks! Run out again! Why is it that no matter how many millions of pairs of socks I buy, I never seem to have any? They just... disappear. Honestly, you'd think someone was coming in here, stealing the damn things, and selling them off. . . For me, socks are like sex: tons of it about, and I never seem to get any.

...Well I know that title list excludes me but I will answer anyway.

When I was young and first came out, I was still a "female", thus a lesbian, because I only seemed to like girls. Then I started making the transition, which was just pretty much referring to myself as male and with a male name. No surgery or hormones. I had a girlfriend, and I called myself straight, being a boy who likes girls.

However, after my transition (note above), I began having pretty powerful attractions to some men (a few times which I acted upon). I've heard many transmen who have gone through this before, but usually they blame the T for making their sex drive.. stronger. If nothing else this is proof to me that the brain really is the biggest sexual organ. Either that or as a female my sexuality was being greatly limited by some sort of mental block.

Long story short I am a practicing bisexual...

Oooooh glad this is here as I was just gonna post about how I've transitioned in this very interesting area so thanx

Before I stated transition I can look back and say I definitely hid as a butch lesbian in the lesbian community this was when I was in massive denial of who I was. Prior to that I had been married for thirteen years. Now here's where its complicated I suppose I had a womans body but felt male I was with a male but fancied women two so no not complicated I was bi sexual which was what I told him so the truth I never lied to him. When I came out the first time I knew really deep down my preference was women coz I never really wanted sex with a man the way gay men would. So I hid in the LGB community and felt safe.

When I came out the second time I said I was a lesbian trans man initially coz no hormones no surgery and I still was crazy about women. Then at Xmas 2007 I suddenly realized I find gay men attractive as I did trans men but knew I didn't want sex with them. So confusion over I new a woman was what I wanted still wasn't ready to admit I was Hetro!!! I realized this whole sexuality thing was gonna be a night mare I still had this attraction for trans men and gay men but knew sex was out so very frustrating and confusing at times. Something else that entered the equation Trans Women now previously I hadn't been interested but suddenly I was becoming attracted to them, here we go again So I was back to the realisation that my preference was most definitely women

Bring on the testosterone December 2008 Jez when that hit it messed with me again and I felt like I'd gone back to square one as it started building up and messing with my psychology!!! I began to call myself Queer because I felt in terms of my sexualty ambiguous although I knew I still didn't want sex with men most definitely. I was discovering things I thought I would never like. But in reflection its things anyone who enjoys sex and pleasuring themselves could like if people could only get rid of the lables they definitely as far as I'm concerned doesn't make me gay.

So 15 months into transition and I have realized and accepting the fact I am a Hetro male in a Hetro relationship and it feels good and ok to be this xx Felix

Thanks guys.
It seems that so far it is hetro, so there is a difference there between trans men and trans women, being that majority ftm's like the same birth sex and majority mtf's like the opposite. A very interesting survey so far.
Felix, Thankyou for being so open and letting us know your history, as regards being attracted to trans men, it is strange that there are so many mtf's out there that are straight but find transwomen and "********" sexy, and some would even have sexual liasons with them.
And the hormone thing hits all of us albeit mtf or ftm.
Well please keep the answers coming and once again. Thanks.

what am I?

Sooo gay all the way. Boys are my Man Muffins

All my life I had always been attracted to guys. I can still look at a lady and go "damn, she really looks good." Not that I'm turned on, just appreciate what is around me.

Since I wasn't repulsed by women, (a.i. the thought of perhaps being with one), I did give it a go. We got along great, but then it started slipping away. My attraction to her started dropping, and soon seemed like I was uninterested.

That's when I found I am ultimately gay. I was, at the time, in a wonderful relationship-nothing more to ask for (she turned into a lying $%^& eventually, but I recognize the difference of non-attraction between emotions or gender). Yet, my attention and thoughts of attraction would more and more go to the men.

I did the "don't knock it 'til you try it", for being with a woman, and it turned it just wasn't a part of my deck.

I consider myself a gay man.
I experimented with girls when I was younger, but nothing ever came out of it.

Mine is complicated.
I call myself "gay with pansexual tendencies", because I am primarily attracted to guys.. but it doesn't matter to me what's between their legs.. penis, vagina, whatever. As long as they identify as male.
I'm about 90% gay.. and about 10% straight..
I am sexually attracted to *some* women.. but it's purely sexual.. and I'm very selective. I could sleep with a girl, but I couldn't have a relationship with one. I tend to be the "woman" in the relationship, or the "needy one", so I need someone who is more dominant and masculine, so both of us are getting what we need.
The problem with dating girls is that most of the ones I've dated have been exactly like me in that respect.. they need to be coddled and doted on.. and I just couldn't do it, and I felt deprived of that..
And I also found it very difficult to feel anything at all for them emotionally.
Guys, I can be emotionally and sexually attracted to.
So yeah.. complicated.. hah.. but if I must be labeled.. call me pansexual leaning more towards gay.

I have to say that prior to transitioning I was a reluctant straight female. I then came out as a lesbian.

However at this time during transition I find myself thinking about everyone in a sexual way!!!

I really don't know which way I will go or if I will be bisexual. I am not really that bothered as time will tell and I am not going to force something that I did force for 22 years.

Genderblind. I fall in love with people. Not whats between their legs.
Either sex can make me drool for their own specific reasons..

I haven't had sex with many people, so it is hard to state a rule, but I am most attracted to women. In the past, however, I have found that my anatomy renders sex with women supremely unsatisfying.
