With over 60 years of crossdressing, I can honestly say that I have NEVER once Tucked or Taped. I am definitely a man, but not a well endowed one. Tight panties have always worked very well for me, when needed! I dress to please myself, not other people.

No, the equipment isn't designed for that. I don't wear tight outer clothing so not an issue.

I always tuck and I always tape. It makes me feel more feminine to not have anything moving around down there. Plus, I am one of those rare lucky ones where I didn't have to learn to do it, everything has naturally gone up inside me without any effort ever since I was a kid. For a long time I worried this would have an effect on my fertility, but lo and behold, when my wife and I were trying to have kids we had no problems whatsoever.
Gee ... I have tried so hard to tuck properly but I'm defective! I just can't find my "cavities" or if I could, I wouldn't know how to place myself thereI need help!
However, in tight fitting jeans I do what I can to pull it all back and then wear a very tight panty girdle ... with one other little trick ... I actually add a little padding (a large folded man's handkerchief) above myself in my pubic hair area (sorry if that's too graphic) thus, if I do have a slightly less than flat front at the bottom, the handkerchief smooths it out above and a gives me an ever so slight outward curve in that lower tummy area that is not a million miles away from the slight protrusion that some GGs have in their lower tummy area too.

hose when out. Also, on a couple of occasions while out, add a
panty girdle to the panties and hose.

Tucking definitely, taping sometimes. I've gotten some really good sight lines from taping that I've never been able to get from just tucking alone. But the hassle of taping to get things just right most often makes me say "forget it".
Add me to the tuck most of the time tape never and let panties, and pantyhose hold things together.
It all depends on what I wear. tuck when needed but as many have said tight lingerie a girdle etc will work just as well as tape. panties for many are not exactly cut for the male parts and can become uncomfortable. but a quick adjustment will fix the problem. Of course they say that size does count. So those that are smaller there may never have to tuck.
I used to tuck and tape all the time, but I just never could get it comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. Lately, just tucking and wearing a gaff or tight panties and hose has produced the same results without the discomfort. I can stay tucked all day feeling natural and very feminine.

Like many others here, I tuck when I venture out, but I never tape. My undies hold everything where I need it to be, and now and then I may require some adjustment. But that's about it. My clothing is usually enough to cover up the genetal area, and like Tam said, people are usually looking higher up anyway.

I tuck everytime I dress. I find tucking to be very comfortable. Sometimes I will tape tightly if I am wearing a high cut bathing suit and getting in the the swim of things. Unfortunately I do have some permanent scaring from taping and leaving the tape on for several days at a time.

i used to never do either because i could never figure out where to push the "boys" up into. plus i thought it was going to hurt. i found the spot though, and so now i tuck, but i've never taped. i have to wear shaping panties to keep everything in place, but i love the way it looks. i've got some thongs that i'd like to wear, so i'll give taping a try soon.

Almost always were dresses or skirts, so hidding the boys is not the issue. Although tucking gives me a very feminine and comfortable feeling with out "things" flopping around. But no, I don't tape. Don't see a reason to with snug panties and nylons.
Besides, like this chap, I'd find a way to screw up the tape job.!
I tuck, taping tried it a few times dont like the way it feels/going to the restroom can be a pain. I have found tight fitting panties to keep everything where it needs to be. if your technique is on you can keep it all hidden even in the tightest jeans/pants/short skirts
