It happened just last weekend. I was in my undergarments and getting reading to put on my makeup when the dreaded knock on the door came. I just froze and did not say anything. The knock got louder and the doorbell rang. I'm still frozen at the top of the stairs and not moving so they can't hear if I'm home. The garage was closed so they could not see if my car was there and the TV and radio were off, so I just let them knock until they went away. I'm thinking it was probably the neighbor kid who wanted me to come outside and play catch.

Just answer the door with fishnets, a bottle of astro-glide, combat boots, and a blouse and say, "I hope this is important, I am trying to tranny!"

I've had to do the quick change a couple of times when my wife came home early.
Now that I'm out she calls if she is coming home early.

Stories! Not to be rude, but I enjoy these so much. It's like a thriller.

Anyway, if we're going for embarrassing times, all I have is when my roommate walked in on me changing into my pajamas. I don't know who it was worse for, me or him.

So, there I was, undressing out of my hakama, tank top and a track jacket (fairly strange, but non-CD outfit) when I heard Bill* (fake name) and his friend talking outside the door. Only covered by a pair of panties and a bra, I attempted to hide under the bed, gaining suspicion from the thump I made. When the two entered, I tried scooting further towards the wall, but hit my head on the bars, making the bed ring. Now, Bill and his friend already have noticed the outfit I carelessly left out on the ground, heard my drop to the floor, and now they know I'm under the bed. Bill scares me by jumping onto my bed and popping his head under, only to fall short of a "Boo!" when he saw I was practically naked. I think we both wanted to die. He slowly got off the bed and escorted his friend out the room while I hid my red face the best I could.

I squirmed my way out and got dressed in my blue satin pajamas. I had gone out after that for some air and when he saw me, my heart froze. He was so pissed. I almost wanted to hug him and make it worse, but then I might find myself on fire before going out shopping for new pajamas. Tell you what, though, CDing and living in a dorm isn't something you can hide, so I wasn't really caught CDing as much as caught dressing. Does that work?

Typical outfit: Baggy pants and a tight hoodie: dark, of course. (I'll get a picture soon ^W^)

This has to be one of the basic CD skills. For my part, I still have a daughter at home and my brother-in-law also has access to the house. So I just alarm it so I have about 5-10 seconds from alarm to you're busted. Seems strange that I am in the bedroom an awful lot when someone comes in the door.

i happened to be working from home and tooling around on a laptop. Out of the corner of my eye, i saw a flash from one of the side windows. My father in law had invited himself over to the house and managed to work him way into the backyard and i don't have window coverings.

A quick dash up the stairs and into the shower saved me...Came down twenty minutes later and claimed to have been working out and didn't hear his incessant knocking on my back door. talk about a rush of adrenalation.

Late one night in an old apartment, I had a knock from an animal control officer. I answered (in drab) and he told me that they had received a report that somebody in the building had moved out and left their dog behind. I didn't know anything about the situation, but tried my best to help by telling him the only unit in the building that had a dog.

No big deal.

Maybe an hour or so after, I decided that it was time to indulge myself a little bit and I grabbed my make-up case. I'd finished my foundation and powder and was working on my eyeliner. There was a loud knock on the door and I heard "POLICE! OPEN UP" Panic would be a tame word to describe my state of mind.

I said "One minute" and scrubbed myself off as best I could with no time and answered the door.

The cop told me that the animal control officer (who was standing behind him) had seen a bong in my living room. He was right. There was a bong sitting on my computer desk, right behind me, that my (long-gone at the time) ex had converted into a flower pot.

I was given the choice of letting them in or them getting a search warrant for the whole place. Knowing what they would find if they searched the place, as far as private stuff goes (nothing illegal), I ignorantly let them in. I explained that the bong was just a decoration at that point and I wasn't into drugs, but they started searching the place anyway. Small town cops looking for that big bust I guess.

All was good until they got to the bathroom where my makeup was still sitting out and they started giving me weird looks. They moved into the bedroom and the cop grabbed a breast-form off dresser and asked "who does this belong to?"

At my wit's end and starting to get mad, I told him "It's mine. Everything in here is mine." He shrugged, opened up my closet door and started rifling through my laundry basket full of fem clothes, shoes, and assorted kinky objects. I just walked out and sat on the couch until they were done. What else did I have to hide?

Eventually, when I suppose they felt they had left no stone unturned (and I believe they were correct), I was given a ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia. A misdemeanor with a $100 fine. Once I was finally alone, I looked in the mirror and I still had eyeliner and foundation all over my face, only the liner was runny from when I tried to scrub it off and the foundation was still caked around the outside of my face.

Moral of the story, if any cop ever tells you he wants to come in or else he'll get a search warrant, make him get that warrant!
OMG. That's sad. In more ways than I can count.

A few years back my wife had gone out so I had dressed - I do not wear make up nor a wig - and the doorbell rang after about an hour. I gingerly stepped downstairs in my heels and looked through the peephole to see a neighbour whom I have been needing to speak with. I called through the door that I would be just a minute.

The laundry room is just down the hall so I slipped off the heels, dropped the skirt and slip, removed the forms and then put on wool socks, sweat pants and a big sweater with a snug neckline to cover everything up (panties, garter belt, stockings, bra, camisole, blouse.) I answered the door and spoke with her for 10 minutes. Thankfully it was winter so it was cold and wearing such a heavy sweater was not a questionable act. Maybe the sweats looked odd but nothing was said.

While I was relieved to have seemingly pulled it off I am not game to repeat the situation so now I just ignore the doorbell altogether.

Some great stories. I remember the time everyone was gone and I was in the backyard when the family returns quite unexpectedly. The sprint around the house while undressing, the bruised knee as I hit something in the mad dash inside and the inside out T-shirt I hurriedly threw on. (I told her I was just getting ready to get the chain saw out and didn't even notice.)

Life in the fast lane.

Unfortunately yes. I was partially dressed when the UPS man and USPS came to the door asking for my signature. This have happened at different times and it is the mad rush to de femme which is terrible.

ok great story here. family was going to a football game the second they leave i rush to my mums cupboard get out a nice red top and some nice skinny black pants, i put on one of her lacy black bras get all dressed up slideon a pair of stilettos then start putting make up on. I was almost done with the makeup then i heard my phone go off.

it was dad calling "hey mate we left the tickets at home we're gonna come back and grab them can ya bring them out to the car for us?" i immediately stutter "umm no umm just send someone in to get them im just about to go for a shower" so I rush into the bathroom lock the door and turn the shower on and waited it out in there till i heard them arrive and leave. after they had left i came out of the bathroom went back to my mirror looked at myself giggled and continued applying my makeup then enjoyed four hours of looking the sexiest i ever had in my life

Most of my interruptions happened while I was still in the closet. I would dress in my basement workshop which had a flashing light to warn me if there was someone in the basement. I would scramble to get back into drab before greeting the intruder.

One morning I was all "dolled up"... when I heard a knock on my front door, then a familiar voice calling me! It was my dad who decided to show up early for our golf date. Talk about a quick shower and scrub (wearing some serious make-up!).....mumbled something about being asleep. etc.....

PS If I remember correctly, I played quite well that day!....

Way back in high school I was getting dressed in my bathroom after school, both parents worked and I was home for about 2 hours everyday by myself, I had just gotten fully dressed in a tight denim skirt and silk blouse, a long wig and makeup. My mom came home about an hour early. I washed the make up off quickly and looked around for my guy clothes and I realized I had undressed in my room! I opened the cabinet to grab a towel, to pretend like I was showering, and what do you know, no towels! I was definitely trapped. After about 5 minutes I decided to just walk out dressed up and try and make it to my room...and as luck would have it my mom was coming down the hall with towels! I just laughed and try to play it off like it was a silly thing for school, she laughed in a very uncomfortable way. I know she didn't believe me, but noone ever said anything about it.

When the warmer weather hits my interruptions seem to always peak. Family and friends pop by. My closet is currently in shambles. The other day I was trying on some of my clothes and after a while settled on a very nice outfit. I was wearing a lacey white top over a white one-piece swim suit with a long red floral skirt and comfy flats. I had been dressed for about on hour when the old couple downstairs had an emergency that required me drive them to the hospital. I had to undress quickly and throw all my clothes in my closet. I life was saved and no harm done!

Neighbor

This happened several years ago. I was living in a second floor apartment after my divorce and our washer and dryer was in the basement of the building. I always washed my undies and stuff when no one else was home but one day I had just put some things in the dryer and gone up to apartment when I got a long phone call. I finally got off the phone and went down stairs only to find my retired neighbor had started to do her laundry and had unloaded my things from the dryer and had actual folded them for me. I told her I was sorry to have left my things in the dryer and she replied that it was no problem and also remarked that I had some very pretty underwear.
I took my things and went up to my apartment and I changed to a bra, panties and slip when I heard a knock at the door and the door swung open because I had not closed it all the way until it latched. So there I am fully dressed in lingerie with my neighbor standing in the doorway with a pair of my panties in her hand which had been left in the dryer.
She came in and gave me my panties and I told her how embarrassed I was and she told me not to worry about. We had always had coffee together so from then on I would stay dressed when she visited and she would actually help me decide on new items I brought home from my shopping trips.
I finally moved because of a new job but I could never get over how understanding and supportive she was of my cross dressing.
