Came out to a tawny owl

I just went swimming en femme for the first time!

I got my black one-piece and a towel and went up to the lake. It was amazing. It was midnight, the water was completely still, I could hear a tawny owl hoot, and I could see faint stars and bright flashes from a distant thunderstorm. I swam for about 50 metres out before I returned to my little cliff and sat and enjoyed the silence.

I also got shocked twice on an electric fence.

I'm a really good swimmer, but I wouldn't go out in the lake in the dark, alone.

Good story and glad you had fun. But why didn't you learn about the fence the first time you touched it?

May the lord know those that don't love us so he may turn their hearts or at least their ankle so we'll know em by their limp.

Bah! You gotta live a little!

Really, though, 50 metres out it was only a metre deep. I wouldn't do this in a tidal stream or in a river, been there done that, but wore a survival suit.

Going through the gate was fine, but I wasn't careful enough crawling under the fence at the other side of the pasture. Felt like a light punch in the back. Second time I crawled under I was fine, but then, in my excitement, I accidentally touched the live wire while closing the gate!

Wow, that sounds incredibly relaxing in so many ways.

...except the shocking part, that didn't sound so fun.

You are probably confusing Tawny Owl with Tipper & Owl Gore. Tipper made some spiked Brownies for Owl Gore during the elections, and when it was all over, Owl Gore grew a beard and traveled around trying to convince people he invented the Internet and was now going to “save the world”.

I have a second story sundeck on the back of my house. I have a couple of those fake owls that are supposed to frighten off squirrels and wildlife (they don’t work). When you get close, a motion detector activates a vocal recording of an owl “hooting”.

I left one outside on my umbrella table during the winter. During and just after snowstorms at night, I would get owls landing on my roof that would “call out” to that fake owl. It kind of freaked me out the first time I heard it (about 3am). After that, it was pretty cool…total silence…then that eerie hooting call from the roof just above the slider door leading to the deck.

I’m pretty sure that is one of the things that caused me to start crossdressing…

    But I might be wrong…
