After boring you all for so long with my last avatar which was taken at a dressing service I thought it was about time to change it for a more "honest" one, taken at the weekend.

Nowhere near as good or as fem but Im working on it.

First time I've read anyone referring to their avatar that way... Certainly appreciate the intent!... A good angle view, good light and simple easy smiles should help such (honest) intents (IMO)... Hope others emulate!

Thanks Joyce. Its only thanks to sites like this one that I have finally accepted who I am. When I first joined about 6 months ago who would not have persuaded me to post a pic on here for love nor money but it is becoming addictive now. As I live on my own and am still in the closet until next month then this is the only way to show Gemma off to the world.

Just the other day I was thinking this actress and Rachel Weisz look similar -- at least in certain pics! That's Alexis Bledel (she plays Rory on Gilmore Girls plus she was in Sin City, Tuck Everlasting, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants etc).

Well done, it's a huge step. I've always been "honest" and although it was nerve-wracking to start I quickly got over it.

Here's hoping it snowballs into even more daring things I'm kidding, but there is an element of truth. Each step I took made me feel more free, and so I just kept taking them. Now I'm in the early stages of transition and wearing female only clothes to work!
