Today when I went for my bi-monthly nail appointment I had pictures of the latest Halloween dance from last weekend. Jenna and I share a lot of our thoughts and exploits. Although she is much younger, 35yrs, she has been helpful, friendly and insightful. Anyway as we were going through my fill the technican next to us and her client was listening in.
Then it happened; they both asked what color I was getting. As we talked between stations I showed the pictures I brought from the dance and my costume. Now the comes the best part as both mine and the other lady's nail appointment was finished. As we sat there letting our nails dry she asked more about my transition and how life can be so strange and yet revealing. She seemed genuinely interested and kind.
So this has been a wonderful day at work and after work.Teri
