If you're referring to the first time, I was a bit apprehensive, but at the same time it felt natural, so I went with it. I did spend a good bit of time at first looking around to see how many and who was staring at me, but no one did, so I took it as a compliment and went on from there.
If I had any idea that therapy, hair removal, hair transplants, doctors and medications were so expensive I would have planned to be rich first.

I feel very much like Karren when I go out dressed enfemme! But there is a major difference. I do not wear a wig or any makeup, except for maybe a little lipstick when I do go out. And I go out dressed enfemme almost every day!! In other words, I am a man wearing womens clothing, from the skin out. People look at me, and sometimes even talk to me! But in the last 6 years I have not had one single negative comment made to me. Not to say they haven't been made, but not so I could hear them. I think most people don't care what you wear, as long as you are decent and not obnoxious!!

When I have gone out dressed, it has been as scary as hell and also the most liberating experience ever! I have virtually no opportunites to go out from home (it happened once and is a strong memory), so it has always been when staying away or "en route". What I find really difficult to confront is walking through a not very busy hotel reception. OK when out as long as I don't have to talk to anyone or get looked at!

Once I settle down I feel just like me but way more comfortable. The hard part is going back to that ugly other me when the outing is over

I love it. At first I'm nervous but I soon realize most people don't care. And if they do, it's their problem. When I'm out I feel pretty and feminine.

For me it feels Natural... now all I wear are jeans and tops, jeans and sweaters, and shorts and tops... even my closest friends are ok with it... I did wear a skirt and sweater set downtown to the theatre, and no one noticed... yet i did not look around to see who was looking... I set my attitude that I was a woman... another time I wore a skirt and sleveless top and went shopping and got my nails done... it felt divine... the women clerks were very nice... a couple of the men clerks recoiled in fear... yet I took command of the situation and everything was ok... it is all about attitude... I paid my storage room rent, and the guy never reacted at all... it was a divine day... the whole day out in a skirt... even went to lunch...

It feels fantastic. Just fantastic. I can remember the first time and the last time (which for me was a year ago now , but I've got some time to take off from work soon ) and lots of times in between. There's the nerves then the exhilaration and the feeling of freedom. Aaargh! I need to get out again

I feel special............and pretty. Lol Actually it can be hard to describe. I feel an excitement and exhilaration like when you see something beautiful and new. I feel joy and I smile very easily. lt's like when you finally get to a place that you worked very hard for, and you want time to slow down so you can savor every moment. I try to take some of that feeling with me into my drab times.

At first I felt nervous thinking if anyone was looking at me. Then as I went out I felt more confident and comfortable.

Scared...it might subside into general anxiety but so afraid someone will shout out "hey, look at that dude in a dress." it has only been the last few months that I have really gone out so I am hoping that will get better. I did have a great outing with a large number of local gurus that I really felt comfortable. I plan to go out with them more often. Strength in numbers, I guess. Going out with my friends I have met recently is a blast but I would bet they would agree that I am fairly nervous until I throw back a couple of drinks.

First time out, I was absolutely TERRIFIED, however, at the same time, I was excited and thrilled.. 2nd time I felt better, and well, I reached a point where it's normal and right.. I truly feel better, more comfortable and somewhat more calm. less likely to have an irate outburst.. Definitely happier..

I love going out. I feel relaxed, natural, comfortable. All of this is something that was a long time coming, but now that it's arrived I hope it never leaves.
