There is a Ford Taurus commercial running on the TV currently in which they are showing a guy driving his new Taurus and talking about how great the car is. But what caught my eye is that on his left wrist he is wearing 2 rubber bands. I remember that a year or 2 ago there was a push for cross dressers to wear rubber bands on Fridays.
Has the guy just come out on national TV?
I guess I never heard of this one, it would be neat to have someway to say we are without telling everyone we are. Do You or anyone else do it. I will start to do it.

The rubber band idea died, because it was decided, word would get out, and if you wore it, you would be outing yourself, and I guess that was right,no matter what the guy had those rubber bands on there for, now there is a certain number of people will always suspect he is a cross dresser, and this is for an idea that never caught on, just think if it had. Wearing a symbol that you secretly belong to a certain group, is giving away that secret.

That's great! You cracked me up! My brother's Taurus blew two trannies, the second about one month after replacing the other!
I remember the rubber band ID being something Linnea, who at least used to post here, was cheerleading. I don't know if it was something just on this forum, but it seemed that way. So it did have a two prong problem. If it only stayed with those on this forum, your likelyhood of running into someone was quite small. If it made it around a lot, then people outside the community would start learning about it and it was no longer secret. But once that bug was put in my head, I have noticed a few hundred crossdressers. Especially little kids with those twisty, neon colored ones.
taurus do tend to wad up the gear train, I used to relish seeing those things come to the transmission shop.
