I went out to dinner with two friends last week. They have been helping me dress. After two years with them they talked me into going out and wow was I scared. All went well and still am feeling the emotions.

Congratulations, Belinda. You're friends are great. I'm so glad that they've been supporting and encouraging you. And, tell the truth, wasn't it wonderful to be out in the real world, all the while in the safe company of your friends?
i wish i could find just one friend friend to do this with
You have great friends in that 1) you could tell them and 2) they helped you go out. Fantastic. Good for you
I've come to know that feeling pretty well, Belinda! And, I can do without it!
Unless, like u, I'm out with "girl"friends! Then, it's definitely WORTH IT!

Oh, oh, the "bad news" is that the dam has broken! Now you will hardly be able to wait until the next time.
Hugs, Carole
It's great to know that you have such positive and supporting friends!
Back on the forums! But still very much closeted.
Congrats, Belinda!
The first time always feels like jumping out of a plane.
I can remember the first time I went out two years ago (not counting my early forays during & after college), when I got home I was so excited I couldn't sleep for a week.
Hi Belinda,
Looks like you've been here for a few months now. It would take friends like yours to get me out of the house dressed.
Congrats,Belinda you did it and you have some caring friends.
