Just wondering if anyone else plays online games as their cd self. I do and I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing to tell people that I cd. Some people are haters and some are cool. Any words of advice?
I dunno but unless there are cameras on both ends does it really make a difference? Just asking Hon.
Second star to the right and straight on till morning
keep it up i think it adds to all the weird fun of gaming.
The haters hate every one that do not conform to their standards, who cares.

I say enjoy it! I tell everyone it's my life and if you don't like the way I'm livin, you just leave this long haired country girl alone! Hugs!

There will ALWAYS be small minded bigots in your life. Don't let it worry you even a little bit. On line? Gaming? You can be anyone you want. The vast majority don't give a rat's behind. Have fun!
I'm not a gamer but I thought about getting into it. I understand there are games that involve ppl all around the world. I heard it can be addictive like, you can immerse yourself in the virtual world, can get to know and become good friends w/ppl you never meet. They say the digital world is an evolving ever expanding phenomenon. Not just in the billion dollar gaming industry but in all aspects of both our personal and working lives. It's changing the way ppl interact and how we perceive the world and our place in it. How we relate to one another in general. And that it's slowly overcoming what used to be our common everyday face to face 'real world' experience.
In fact it's not uncommon for some ppl to establish virtual friendships that are more vital and meaningful than those they have in the real world. I dont think there's anything 'wrong' or weird about this. It's just a simple fact of life. It's the way we as a global society are evolving. It's the impact of technology on human behavior. Things will never be as they once were, there's no going back. It's only going to continue in time in ways we can't even image or predict, both good & bad.
I would think this is advantageous for us in the transgendered or CD community. It removes the anxiety one might feel in real world interactions wihere as you say there is always the possibility of coming across intolerant narrow minded individuals. Because of the remote nature of virtual interaction you dont have to volunteer the fact that you're transgendered or a CD. You are free to just be yourself, girl, relax and enjoy your virtual friends, expressing and interacting with them freely and completely from the standpoint of your feminine self. They'll just assume you're a girl and treat you as such with no doubts, judgements or second geussing.
I may have played while dressed... but cant remember, wasnt a conscious act. Now you bring good idea, cause most times I pick female characters in mmorpgs (they look cute).
Now if you give your character a female name and dress each time while you play her... that would be interesting.
I always play while dressed and tell anyone I play with. If they dont like it they can opt out!

Hello,
Every online game I play I always play as myself (girl) even the one I play the most WoW.
Think this got covered in a similar thread, but I think that was mor specific to certain games instead of actually dressing while gaming.
Iv done both funnily enough, played as a female making her as I want and also dressed while gaming. Uusally a corset since I really need to stop this slouching.
when i play games whether they are online or offline my characters are always female. and i tend to be dressed when playing them.
I'm just a simple someone trying to figure life out.
Everything I play as is always male, because everybody questions why I'm using a female character. If I did have a more powerful computer (and I am saving my money for one), then I'd be more open to playing as female characters as it can't handle Call of Duty: MW3 or Max Payne 3. But everyone who uses my computer must not see what I have. I can confess that I do, or did, have the female red bird as my Angry Birds Friends avatar at one point.
Hmm, not sure where to start, I guess I don't have much to say on the topic given ybat I'm new to the whole thing, crossdressing not gaming. Though I was hanging out in teapeaklast night with my friends, didn't tell them because I'm not open about it, nor will probably ever be. Most people wont giive a damn or will be interested, and above all it doesn't matter if you tell them because they xant do a damn thing about it, assumig they don't knnameour legal name. Also there is nothing wrong witb usig a female avatar a lot of people do it regarcless of orientation/gender.

To put it shortly the internet is an ever growing pheonomina. For example this conversation here 30 years ago people would hve not thought this possible. I'm an active member of a video game streaming site and I am a streamer there, another example of tbe things capable of the world wide web. More to your point though, viseo games can be fun, thougb the industry is headinf for a hugh crash. There are plenty of casual games today which you can pick up play and have fun. Give it a tey.
I love playing PC and online games while dressed.

gaming is part of my drab life, and dressing is my escape from my that, so no gaming for me. i do play play a bit fem while playing though(when not doing it for work). especially games with customization in them like most rpg's and the sims.
In games of all sorts, I much prefer to play a female character, but I'll play male characters every now and then so no one in my personal life gets suspicious. Whether I am dressed or not at the time depends on whether my roommate is home or not.
Always play as a female character. It's normally Evony for me
I certainly don't play naked.
Work on your elegance,
and beauty will follow.
I play some now and played a lot years ago but never told anyone I was anything other than Cheryl. They had no need to know and I was always accepted as me.
I don't wear women's clothes, I wear MY clothes !
Some games, like Diablo II, used to only let you have certain characters as male or female... I used to have male haracters all the time, and female as well.
I could see it being a good excuse?
Just made a myself a female character on DC Universe Online, a nice chocolate-skinned sista with an afro. Sorceress. Villainess. Look out (DC) world.

When I want to have a video game night, I dress in full, wear something skippy and my avatars and characters are all female.
Even in the games were I don't have a graphic avatar, I'll take a female name..
