No. Just let her know who is boss. Asserting my ALPHA DOG status is all! In the bedroom, its pretty much me directing traffic, which I like! In almost everything, its pretty much me leading, which is the way it should be. (even though she is a leader too. She is not afraid to speak her mind)

Let me make a suggestion in the form of a joke that just happens to be so true...... The groom carries his bride across the thresh-hold and lays her on the bed. I agree - people in relationships shouldn't act out of spite. Maybe you need to talk to her a little bit more. Let her know you really like having painted nails and offer to go with a more nuetral color if peachy pink is a bit much for her. That would be a mature and positive way to approach it.

I have worked hard to have an understanding and accepting SO and would never jeopardize that just to spite her.

Think long and hard about purposely trying to spite your gf. Granted I make several mistakes with my wife (mainly with the whole toilet seat being left up/leaving dirty clothes on the floor thing) but I do not intentionally ever want or try and spite her. 1. Because I love her and do not want to ever hurt her or make her upset. 2. I've noticed GG's in my life from my mother down to my wife have near perfect memory and tend to never forget any thing be it good or bad.
