    My FFS Surgery!

The time I've been waiting for so long is finally here!

I leave early tomorrow morning to have Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) with Dr. Lázaro Cárdenas in Gudalajara Mexico. I fly down tomorrow and should have surgery on Tuesday sometime. I will stay in the recovery house and fly home on Oct 12th, I will go full time as Pam when I return.

It seems like it has been a long time since I started this journey but in reality it has been a pretty short time compared to others who have transitioned.

I filed for my legal name change this last week and have a court date about 1 1/2 weeks after I return from FFS surgery. Hopefully I will walk out with a court order to change my name to my true self.

I know there will be more trials in the journey forward but I'm looking forward to living my life as me.

I will post some updates and pictures as I can and try to keep everyone updated on my recovery and progress. It really helped me out when Melissa (badtranny) did this so I'm going to try and do the same and pay it forward. No matter how gruesome it is. lol

I have learned so much here in the last year or so and thank you all for sharing and helping those of us who are becoming who we have always truly been.

    Thanks for your support everyone!
    Pam

Good luck on your journey and with the upcoming surgeries. I will enjoy reading about your recovery process and then your transition to full time. Hopefully, you will not scare that judge too much so soon after your FFS.

    Happy dance!

Are you going to give us some reports as to how things are going while you're there?
I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back keep me here to wait for me so I don't go back out and miss myself when I return.

Pam, I am so really happy and excited for you! You are a strong woman and you will get through the recovery and pain just fine and emerge a much stronger, happier and more confident woman and I know you are so finally ready for life as yourself and best of luck, prayers and hugggs to you.

    Wow that was quick.

For us. I know it's been a string of long days for you. ;-)

I would say have fun, but I know better than that. I will say enjoy the friends you will meet during your stay. I got the chance to meet some crazy broads and a couple of them I will remember forever. Both were named Michelle oddly enough. One was a sister and the other one was a ballsy GG getting some lipo and stuff done. It's a neat experience but not once in a lifetime, as I will be going back as soon as I can afford it to get some tweaks and further nippage and tuckage. Hopefully I can coordinate it with Inna's next trip and I can finally meet that nutty broad. ;-)

I'm very happy for you Pam, this is a HUGE step and your life is about to change in ways you can never imagine. Nobody willingly gets their face cut up unless they are seriously committed. ...Or should be. ;-)
