    I am baby smooth......

I am baby smooth from my hips to my toes. I started shaving about 3 weeks ago, after a period of gradual thinning, so I'm not quite sure if my wife just hasn't noticed the difference (I don't have a lot of hair on me anyway) or she has noticed and isn't mentioning it.

Anyway, I've found I need to shave about every 3 days or so or I get stubble, which feels.... just not smooth. So I say to myself, what's the point in having legs that LOOK shaved, if they don't FEEL shaved? so I re-shave. MY question is whether or not you get used to the silky smoothness very quickly. Frankly, after 3 or 4 weeks of baby smooth gams, I don't notice it during the day as much. it feels ... well.... normal. I wouldn't want to go back to hair, but I will in the summer, and I bet when I do it will feel.... normal.
I'm totally surprised by how I took the smoothness for granted, so fast. Anyone else feel the same way?

Once I started keeping myself smooth I got used to it being my normal state. Not being smooth is something that feels completely foreign and unnatural to me. I just dont like it, lol

It dose get to feel normal after awhile. That dosen't mean it feels normal like hairy dose. Kinda like a blind person being able to see. Blindness was normal to them and after a while of seeing it becomes normal to them. Dosen't mean the gift of sight isn't a wonderful thing, just like having a silky smooth body is a wonderful thing.

Marina, you need to get an epilator. This will eliminate the stubble and you will fall in love with the results. Go for it girl.

I've shaved below the belt consistently for over 14 years, not shaving is strange. I've only gone past a week without if I was getting waxed.

Over the years I've slowly started shaving more and more. At this point it's only my forearms that I don't shave regularly. And I have a regular regime: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday it's legs, upper arms, and armpits. Wednesdays and Saturdays it's chest and belly. I alternate by day using a straight or electric razor on my face.

Of course, that's only in the colder months. When warm weather comes I have to let the legs and part of the torso grow out because my wife doesn't like me shaving. But as soon as I can hide it all again, the hair comes off.

BTW, Marina, I really like your look in your avatar.

Smooth is the only way to be. I have been smooth from the waist down for years now. Couldn't think what it would be like to be hairy again ( insert sad face)

I shave every second day and feel yucky when I don't. Summer winter all the time. Last summer in an eye clinic waiting room at the hospital I noticed several men in shorts, over 50 with wives in tow and clean shaven legs. It doesn't matter anymore, havn't been in the pool yet though.

Marina, I have only been shaving for a few weeks since coming out, but I am enthralled with it. I have to shave every day or I feel the stubble. Haven't tried Nair or other depilatories because I am worried about a reaction. Not so committed that I will buy/use an epilator, because my wife expects me to regrow my leg hair in warmer weather so I don't want to do anything lasting (actually I do want, but won't, out of love and respect for her).

I'm just so loving the smooth feeling. Whether putting on a pair of hose, or under the covers with my wife, or just touching my legs--I don't want it to end. I had some mild Keratosis Pilaris on the upper thighs when I started shaving, but after determined exfoliation and some cocoa butter oil, they look and feel wonderful.

My wife has definitely noticed. I made a point to shave in front of her to establish this as normal activity. She shakes her head but I can tell she enjoys it between the sheets. My coming out to her has emboldened her to reveal some kinky desires herself. I won't go into details, but one of them is watching internet porn together. She noticed almost right away how the male stars are mostly entirely hair free and asked if they shave. I told her they probably use a depilatory and she hinted that she may want to see my entire body hair free at some point. Never tried it, but from other members' comments the smooth feeling lasts for 2 or 3 days with a depilatory, so I definitely want to experiment. I will let her propose/purchase it, however, as I have been pushing the envelope lately.

I see the word "NORMAL" used in the reply's, my question is what's normal? I have kept my legs shaved for many years, If I don't shave for a couple day and start getting stubbles, to me that's not normal, however for someone who just started shaving the smooth feeling isn't normal????? Whats normal?

It certainly does become "normal" and after a while those few hairs that you see sprouting become as enemies. I know when I start to see the growth that signals my need to epilate or shave it makes me feel I'm "dirty" to some extent and just have to get clean and smooth again.

Shaving does feel great. I also shave in the colder months. I usually start in September and along about the end of February I will let it grow back out for the sumer. In the transition time (no hair to hair), there is about a week it feels funny. If you wear hose with leg stubble, it sort of feels like hair keeps catching on the hose.

It's such a wonderful feeling to be so smooth. I have used an epilator for so long that the hair that does grow (when I have been lazy) is so thin it is barely visible on my legs. However, even when dressed as a Dave I just love wearing lined trousers as the smooth lining feels so good on my bare skin. Mmm that's got me thinking it's time to wear those trousers again :0)

Body hair has been a thing of the past for many years now. My leg hair comes back
so light, all I have to do is a quick swipe every week or so.

The key is to moisturize. I'll use Olay Body Ribbons right after I shave, and the
feeling of a nice pair of stockings (especially L'eggs Sheer Elegance) on
my freshly-shaved, smooth, soft legs is fantastic!

I have shaved my legs in the past, but last week depilatoried the entire enchilada, legs, torso, chest, arms and arm pits. I absolutely love the feeling and have been shaving since to keep that smooth feeling. I believe I will move on to an epilator to reduce the frequency of maintenance.

The only negative, is my fiancees missing my chest hair. She always played with it and would comment on how much she loves it. I on the other hand have always hated it. I may have to compromise on this, I'm just no sure how.

I cannot grow hair on my chest or back and have very little on my legs and arms. I shave every 3-4 days and love the smoothness, I have never been able to grow facial hair that would look good, it would be in spots here and there. This makes it alot easier to be smooth all the time.

It seems so sad that I don't get to feel the just shaved look with my legs.
I haven't had that feel for many years.

You say that come the summer you will let it grow out again. WHY? If your hair is thin as you say, I'm willing to bet athat no one will notice the difference.
I shave everything earlobes on down and have for several years and yes some family members B-I-L & S-I-L noticed, but I just said I did it because it was cooler and the heat bothers me so much. Not another word was spoken about it.
By the way my wife does my back for me and has for years.

I have been baby smooth from my nose to my toes for years, more like most of my life.

In my 20's that was in the 80's I was big into the punk rock scene, I had a pink Mohawk that just kept getting thinner and thinner till I was completely bald and stayed that way for 6-8 months, I even did my eyebrows, talk about sensory overload. I had not a small but more of a medium sized butterfly tattooed on the back of my head along with an all seeing eyeball it's kinda creepy looking actually but unless I shave my head again or high up on my nape you can't see it.......

I just shaved my legs last week for the first time in about 20 years, amazing.I don't think there is anything that makes you feel as girlish as silky smooth legs. The wife however wasn't at all impressed but that's another story.Since then I have taken to looking to see how many men have smooth legs and have noticed quite a number out and about. One day I'll probably get asked about it but I don't think it's as bigger deal as we might think. My daughter has seen my legs for the pass few days(summer here)and hasn't said a word.

I've been shaving for a number of years, and have never got used to the silky smoothness, it always feels great!

Especially under a long silky nightgown.

And even just going into the pool I can always feel the difference.
